Guest nick fury
Sumi-sipsip at nagpapapogi na naman ang mga politician na nag-file ng said bill ... Definitely sumisipsip. That lawmaker should have made a more useful bill instead of a useless one such as this one. If there are two persons who deserve Edsa to be renamed after them, they are FVR and JPE and not Cory. Hindi naman si Cory nagpasimuno ng people power. Edited November 24, 2011 by nick fury Quote Link to comment

uaeboy25
Mabangis talaga si PNoy Solon: PH’s appointed ambassador to China ‘unqualified’ .. In fear of a disastrous outcome, a senator appealed to President Benigno Aquino III to withdraw the appointment of Domingo Lee as the country’s ambassador to China. Senator Sergio Osmena, also a member of the powerful Commission on Appointment, expressed his concern over Lee’s alleged incompetence and inexperience after failing to convince the commission that he is qualified for the position. “I can see several pending disasters that's going to happen if you put an incompetent person like Domingo Lee as ambassador to Beijing and I am appealing to the president to withdraw his nomination because it is not fair to the Filipino people,” Osmena said. During Lee’s confirmation hearing Wednesday, the senator asked him if he’s aware of the official Chinese newspaper The Global Times which called for a war against the Philippines and Vietnam over the South China Sea. The appointed ambassador, however, admitted that he has not read the article. Lee also failed to define correctly the terms “diplomacy” and “hard power” during the hearing. Osmena said he “can’t even quantify the danger to the Filipino people” if the ambassador would be that “laid-back.” “That's what I am telling Malacañang. Ipadala mo iyan sa Argentina o sa Italy, hindi ako mag-question diyan pero we're about to go to war with the second most powerful nation in the world. Their economy is already number two, their military is about to become number two. And then we're going to send somebody like this guy,” the senator added. Osmena further claimed that Aquino’s personal friendship with Lee has overtaken national interest. The commission suspended its hearing without endorsing Lee’s appointment to the plenary.----------------------------------------------------------------- anggaling talaga ni Bugoy este PNoy Quote Link to comment

Very, very angry. How dare Osmena say that you chose an incompetent to be our ambassador to China. How dare Osmena say that you chose friendship over national interest. You cannot be wrong. You are the heir of a hero, the son of a saint. Your wisdom is beyond question. But don't worry. No one can touch you. The yellow media will revile Osmena. Your congressmen and senators will lynch Osmena. Your supporters will curse Osmena. You are invincible. If Osmena or if anyone continues to question your presidential prerogative, heed the advice of Undersecretary Zosimo Paredes. Declare a revolutionary government. Jail anyone who doubts your intelligence, your sagacity. Sleep well and continue playing your favorite computer game. 2 Quote Link to comment
camiar
Before the SC's final ruling, Noynoy pretends that he is neutral about the Hacienda Luisita issue, because he is just a "minor" stockholder. Now that SC finally gave justice to the farmers' land reform claims, he is now insisting that his relatives be given "just compensation" for the land that will be "taken away" from them. If you look at the history of Hacienda Luisita, practically, laway lang ang puhunan ng mga aquino-cojuangco clan dyan. Since the beginning, money was provided for by the government. So kung laway lang ang puhunan, then their just compensation should be a spit on each of their faces. Edited November 27, 2011 by camiar Quote Link to comment

Sl@MDuNk_Mitsui14
Dear abNoy, 1. The agreement between the government and the Cojuanco family which took place in 1957 takes precedent to whatever is written on Cory's 1988 CARP. The original agreement clearly state, that as a pre-condition to the loan granted by the Philippine government to your family that 10 years after the purchase of the Hacienda, the Cojuancos will then give the land to the farmers. 2. Now, if the agreement was for the Cojuancos to give/distribute the land to the farmers in 1967, and you ask the farmers to pay the government in return, isn't that purchasing and not giving? Seriously, what's wrong with you abNoy? Quote Link to comment
red60
Kris Aquino would be an exception. Wala syang tinatago. Apparently, this is the reason why she's one of the highest grossing endorser in recent years. Quote Link to comment

Also, she likes to be talked about. She even had the gall say that they respect the SC decision even though Hacienda Luisita will be taken away from them. By the way Kris, did you even comment on your Twitter regarding the injustice done during the Luisita massacre? Edited November 29, 2011 by nick fury Quote Link to comment

BrightestStar
well, of course, it's not easy to give up those thousands of hectares. We even had difficulty with only 200+ hectares. Quote Link to comment

What about for the owners who will be paid roughly 1/10 only by the government? Can you imagine being paid 1989 rate? Cge, try working now and be paid a "1989 salary of only 4,000" monthly. would you take that? Quote Link to comment
