benjied
They ALMOST lost this one. The Warriors made a scary comeback in the 4th. Luckily for the Rockets, their shots didn't fall.. Quote Link to comment

_eRon_
what a win by the rockets, tmac played a superb game but it was bobby jackson's 3 & carl landry's spectacular play that won the rockets the games..rockets are now 3rd in the west, 47-22, next up phoenix, go rockets!!! Quote Link to comment

Gideon
Rockets now has lost 3 of the last 4 games after there historic 22 game winning streak. Buti na lang kamo nanalo against the Warriors, kundi 4 game losing streak. Quote Link to comment
FF
the tough part of their sked is done. but with the playoffs looming , the losses to the celtics , hornets and suns might play large in the psyche of the rockets. the 22 win streak means el nada if the rockets pull el foldo( again) in the first round of the playoffs. this was tmac's chance to put his team on his shoulders ( a la lebron who does it night in , night out for the cavs ) and scale the summit. I don't think he can do that without Yao. With how tough the competition is in the West... he will have bragging rights for years to come if he leads the Rockets past the 1st round of the playoffs this season... Quote Link to comment
benjied
Probably the 1st round opponent they have a big chance against is GS.All the others have a consistent inside scoring threat.Houston's a huge DONUT right now. A team with a wide gapping hole in the middle. Quote Link to comment

johncharles
T Mac should average at least 30ppg (on 50% shooting) 5rbs and 5ast in the playoffs for the rockets to advance past the first two rounds.. :upside: For them to reach the championship he should take it to another level 35pts 8rbs 9 ast Another solution would be for Mutombo to Score 10pts Block 5 shots a game and haul down 14 boards per night and....Alston to hand out steve nash like assists; 12ast per game. That should be enough to help out T Mac Quote Link to comment

That should be enough to help out T Mac bona fide nba stars take it on another level during the playoffs. come to think of it , it's what you do in the playoffs that define your character. we're still waiting for tmac to emerge as a playoff star ( to say he's been disappointing so far is putting it mildly ). this might be the year. then again , it might not be. alston averaging 12 assists ? mutombo turning back the clock to average 14 boards and 5 blocks ? might be wishful thinking. in my playoff book , mark the rockets for a quick 1st round exit. and another tearful apology for tmac on the way out.
