skitz
I am not sure if this qualifies, but before Will Smith became a famous movie star, one of his very first movies was, SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION. Very different from his superhero roles he plays today. Quote Link to comment

BigJuicyLady
Perfume - Ben Wishaw, Dustin Hoffman, Alan Rickman Read the book, is the film equally shocking?  My vote... BEST----MOVIE----EVER! Memento (2000) - Guy Pearce, Carrie-Ann Mossscreenplay & direction by Christopher Nolan (Batman) Memento chronicles two separate stories of Leonard, an ex-insurance investigator who can no longer build new memories, as he attempts to find the murderer of his wife, which is the last thing he remembers. One story line movies forward in time while the other tells the story backwards revealing more each time Quote Link to comment

tequilasunrise
I can say that the local movie "Pitong Dalagita" is a good one - I never expected it to be that good, akala ko the time they were airing the trailers teeny bopper flick, pero hindi naman pala talaga. Quote Link to comment

kentoten
Seem to be very interesting titles. Impressive.  Might I recommend "12 Angry Men"?  Oh yeah! I saw a copy of "12 Angry Men" on sale at Video City in SM North Edsa years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't bought it since I ran out of money (sayang). Here are other not so popular films outside Hollywood that I recommend (pahabol he,he,he). Korean Films - JSA, Shiri, Sex is ZeroJapanese Film - The Twilight Samurai Chinese (Mainland) - Xu Xiu (The Sent Down Girl)Chinese (Taiwan) Film - Lust/Caution Chinese (Hong Kong) - In the Mood for Love, 2046Vietnamese Film - The Scent of Green PapayaPhilippines - Cavite Quote Link to comment
nightfall24
Guys & Gals who are into suspense, try nyo yung movie na "Perfume, a story of a Murderer" astig to. One cool scene is a sea of men & women (as in buong townfolk) are engaged in an orgy. Why, you might ask? Watch it! Astig! :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
