Read the book, is the film equally shocking?

My vote...

BEST----MOVIE----EVER!

Memento (2000) - Guy Pearce, Carrie-Ann Moss

screenplay & direction by Christopher Nolan (Batman)

Memento chronicles two separate stories of Leonard, an ex-insurance investigator who can no longer build new memories, as he attempts to find the murderer of his wife, which is the last thing he remembers. One story line movies forward in time while the other tells the story backwards revealing more each time

Oh yeah! I saw a copy of "12 Angry Men" on sale at Video City in SM North Edsa years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't bought it since I ran out of money (sayang).

Here are other not so popular films outside Hollywood that I recommend (pahabol he,he,he).

Korean Films - JSA, Shiri, Sex is Zero

Japanese Film - The Twilight Samurai

Chinese (Mainland) - Xu Xiu (The Sent Down Girl)

Chinese (Taiwan) Film - Lust/Caution

Chinese (Hong Kong) - In the Mood for Love, 2046

Vietnamese Film - The Scent of Green Papaya

Philippines - Cavite
