circleguy
nangyari na rin sa akin yang nangyari kay circleguy (Citibank Visa)ako kasi, i just keep my CCs sa wallet inside the car. one time, may dumating sa akin na statement, na may mga purchases sa amazon tsaka mga subscription sa mga porn sites. i don't use my cards online so nakakagulat. disputed all transactions, pero medyo matagal nai-reverse. inabot din ata ng 3 months. during the dispute, i told them that i will not pay for the transactions as well as any interests incurred on the transactions. inayos naman nila and they issued me a new CC. How much bro yung AMAZON and porn sites umabot? I pay my bills in full each time kaya buti nalang ganon ginagawa ko kaya di ako pwd lokohin sa interests, how many correspndences did you make para reverse nila mga yon? mine were all pending at wala pa ako narerecv na bagong statement, they assured me though na it wont show up at all sa statements ko, this i got to see first. Did Citibank mail you a letter or call you up to investigate some more? sakit lang ng ulo and sleepless nights nangyayari sakin Quote Link to comment

revi
After some back-reading, I have noticed that Standard Chartered have the most complaints.. I have two Standard Chartered cards (VISA and Mastercard).. And I usually have problems with their Customer Service Representatives (the ones who handle the calls) because they are not properly trained.. I usually call twice or even thrice just to be sure that I won't get misinformed.. Example: I have been asking for waivers on my annual fees ever since.. And everytime, I am having problems with their CSR's.. Just this month, one CSR said that if I want to have a waiver my points will be deducted.. I was furious coz this was not the case last year.. I told the CSR that I am a transactor (a person who pays all outstanding balances every billing) and I have the right to ask for a waiver without my points getting deducted.. I demanded to talk to her manager.. She said she can not give her manager to me.. Protocol daw.. I insisted until she gave in.. When I talked to the manager, the manager was apologetic and said to me that my request for a waiver on my annual fees will be done ASAP.. And my points won't get deducted.. She said the reason is because of my paying habits.. See? Everytime I ask for waiver of their annual fees, this incident happen.. That is how stupid Chartered's CSR's are.. Just think about, I have had these cards for over 4 years.. apat na taon na din akong naasar sa kanila.. I continue to use my SCB cards because of the big limit they gave me.. I am not interested in card companies who only give me a 40-50K credit line.. I also have one with HSBC.. I have no intentions of not using my SCB cards.. Why? Pati Marketing Department nila nabubulabog eh.. My requests (so far) have not been turned down pa naman.. Edited May 30, 2007 by revi Quote Link to comment
nightingale
^I always get a waiver from standard chartered. every year, for the past 5 years, i call to terminate my credit account. the standard chartered card csr always asks why. and i always say that "i received several pre-approved cards from other banks, that i no longer wish to continue using standard chartered so i can save on annual fees. Then they insist that i retain the card, they will waive the annul fees. hence, i have not paid a single annual fee. Quote Link to comment

I am currently working in a callcenter for 11 months now. Can you guys tell? Quote Link to comment

I think the reason why they keep on disapproving you is that you have not really convinced them on your security of tenure.. Meaning you have not been in your current workplace for a year.. Try applying after your 12th month.. That is my take.. heard some complains on the hsbc metro that if u owe them 1002 then u pay only 1000 left 2 .. they will charge u for the whole amount 1002 ... and not the remaining 2 for the interest ... im dnt have these cards kasi kaya di ko maconfirm ... im using equitable which sad to say is bdo n .. bka di na ako ma libre sa annual dues This is true to all credit card companies.. If you don't want to be charged interest for the whole amount of your billing statement, pay all balances.. Hwag magtitira kahit centavos..
to all credit card masters, i had a PNB VISA Credit Card with 10K limit way back. my 1st card actually. i went away for several months and left my card with my family (mother at sis). masyado ata akong natagalan sa pagbalik at nakalimutan kong magbayad. ayun, cut na ung card. til now e di pa rin ako bayad. e mas maayos na ung finances ko ngayon kaya gusto kong mag-apply ng credit card. e di ba bad credit na ko 'cause of my previous card? how can i fix my credit status para makapag-apply uli ako ng credit card? nag-apply ako sa Citibank for a MasterCard Gold Card just before this holy week via online. na-fax ko naman ung mga requirements kaso holy wednesday na. ang iniisip ko e baka hindi nila na-recieve o nakita. after some time, naka-recieve ako ng letter from Citibank stating that my request for credit card was rejected. di ko tuloy alam if due to my previous credit or late fax of docs. nag-apply din ako sa HSBC ng MasterCard Gold Card via online. i emailed my docs to the specified email addy. til now e la pa rin response. noong april pa un. PhP 840K/annum NET Income ko. by the way, noong PNB days may landline ako, ngayon wala na. ngayon, meron akong two (2) mobile postpaid lines from Globe. will that suffice to be an alternative for a landline? i hope you can help me. thanks you in advance, credit card masters.
