Cruzer
Here's a custom die-cast model I really wanted. The base model(Inflight200) itself costs $200 plus the customization labor which the person is charging $180. I need to add shipping charges pa! It used to be a Lufthansa Inflight 1:200 die-cast model converted to a decaled Philippine Airlines. http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/attachments/forum16/45164d1220208113-dsc03704.jpg Quote Link to comment
floppydrive
Hmmm. Shouldn't the lettering read "Philippne Airlines" instead of just "Philippines"?I hope the runway base is not included - the scale seems out of proportion to the plane. My cousin used to collect wood-carved models of aircraft. He got them in Angeles City when Clark was still an American Military Base. I'm not sure if the carvers can make commercial aircraft, and if they are still around, though. Here's a custom die-cast model I really wanted. I do my own miniature model airport building though to house my collection. I have the PAL777 dragonwings as well as the geminijets version. I am waiting for an a320 as well as q400. Hopefully, they will release them. Quote Link to comment
Boelcke
Hope to see your airport in the future. Ive been trying to get the Herpa PAL jets (747-400 and A340) sold on PAL international flights but never was able to get the set. Ive been told each flight carries only one set and its almost always quickly sold. Quote Link to comment
Cruzer
If you really want the set sir....I may be able to get it from someone who works for PAL. Just tell me if you're still interested. Below is a sample photo of my miniature model airport.I made it as a replica of NAIA Terminal 2. I'm still on the works for the terminal1 and terminal3. http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo309/Cruzer555/602pr231-bnm_1_.jpg http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo309/Cruzer555/NAIA2dropside3.jpg http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo309/Cruzer555/NAIA2gen.jpg http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo309/Cruzer555/NAIAtower1.jpg http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo309/Cruzer555/nightshot1.jpg http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo309/Cruzer555/NAIAapproachNight.jpg http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo309/Cruzer555/PALfleet2.jpg http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo309/Cruzer555/PALfleet1.jpg Quote Link to comment

Cruzer
Wow! Nice diorama! And its lighted even. Very good photography as well. Thank you Doc. I am still in the process of building my NAIA1 and NAIA3 terminal to complete my Manila airport. Just having some problems with research work on the airport plans as well as.....TIME. Hehe. When I did the research on this NAIA2 it was before the 9/11 incident. I got to take pictures within the vicinity of the airport. Now I resort to FlightSim screenshots of PFSG members to help me with my research on the 2 terminals. Quote Link to comment
