Justin Nicholas
You've mastered the art in 2 months? Really? The Kru's of MAP - the Muay Association of the Philippines - who currenltyt represent the country in Muay Thai events here and abroad don't even call themselves masters of their art, and they've been doing it for years. Even the local black belts in Brazilina Jiu Jitsu here in the country never claim to have mastered their art. I'm sorry, sir. I used the wrong word. I didn't exactly master the art. Rather, I immediately learned the basics. But of course, I'm no superhuman to to be an exoert in a short span of time. Again, sorry for the error. Quote Link to comment

hellspawn
here's another one i found on why hard work and hard training beats relying on wackadoodle, woo-woo, nonsense, complete- and-utter-bollocks, bullshit, fraudulent, and just downright crazy martial arts practices and beliefs like "chi" or "ki" or "qi" or the f#&king "force". the video had me laughing my arse off. so if any of you are actually practicing anything with a strong reliance or heavy emphasis on this bullshit, or have been told that "internal arts" are "t3h d34dly" have a close look at this, then punch your instructor on the nose and leave. http://scienceblogs.com/neurotopia/2007/10...tm_medium=email btw, i love the "i've done this before" excuse, classic...
