it's not enough to read all the muscle magazines and apply what you have read. kasi if you do not understand the principle ay balewala ang application niyan. that's the problem to some instructors na dahil nakapagym lang ng matagal at kesyo nagbabasa ng mga ganitong libro ay mga mamaru (nagmamarunong) na. they don't even know the principle of muscle contraction and how it works. it is not explained very well in these magazines.

 

Like what quile 1912 advised for losing weight dapat less weights and more repetitions and aerobics. if you want to gain mass dapat more weights with less repetition. Kaya lang i don't know if this guy knows the rationale behind this program. actually may kulang pa dito. nawala yung diet. diet serves also an important role in losing or gaining weight.

yup, this makes sense.. minsan naisip ko nga mag-kargador na lang ako... sometimes it's true, kaya i dont read these fitness mags na nirerecycle lang ang mga articles... andaming mga theories minsan nalilito ka na kung ano ang tama... tingnan na lang natin yung mga ninuno natin, they eat raw meat, lots of vegetables and maintain an active lifestyle (hunting) and okay yung katawan nila.

 

e kase nga yan yung long and slow cardio workout.. yung mga construction worker, di naman ganun ka intense ang mga binubuhat nyan e.. nagpapala lang ng semento, pero they are active and moving for more than 8 hours..

 

e yun nga lang magbobote sa amin, andumi dumi pero pag nagtutulak ng kariton na nakahubad ganda ng katawan.. walang taba, at may 4 pack abs..

 

e yun ba kumukuha pa ng gym instructor, nagbabayad ng 5k a month sa gym, bumibili ng creatine, protein drinks, at sumusunod dyan sa mga walang katapusang theories na yan??

Sorry mga bro, pero i don't agree that this are all theories.

factual yung mga nakalagay sa mga magazines na ito kasi based ito sa mga scientific studies. ang sinasabi ko lang it's how people interpret and how they understood these things.

mind you thug not all kargadors have good physique, yung iba sa kanila malalaki ang tiyan. ilang beses na akong sumasakay sa barko and i know na di lahat ng kargador maganda ang katawan.

 

with regards to the mangbobote, personally ilang mangbobote na ang nakita ko pero di maganda ang katawan lahat sila payatot. oo nga may abs sila pero yung katawan nila ngeek. i don't know if this is your ideal body. sana tinanong mo sa mangbobote kung ano yung ginagawa niya para magka abs siya. baka ang isagot niya lang ay di ako kumakain ng tama.

I had a friend. He has an Ectomorphic type of body, payatot talaga.

 

He asked my opinion and ask me kung anong magandang program pampalaki. I gave a simple program, more on dumbells nga eh. The next day sabi nya sa kin mali daw yung program ko sabi ng instructor nya. Pang advance daw yon. Napakamot ako ng ulo kasi advance ba yung:

 

flat bench press, alternate db curl, tricep extension, db row, db military press????

Simpleng 8 to 10 reps at 3 sets???? Ala akong nilagay na any supersets or exercise with machines kasi nga begginer sya.

 

Then nagulat ako kasi binentahan daw sya ng cell tech at nag iipon for nitro.... Inshort pineperahan sya.....

 

A month later sabi nya naninigas na daw yung binili nyang 5kg na creatine. Wow as in wow, 5kg ng crea binenta sa kanya. Eh 4 yrs na nga kong nagbubuhat di pa ko nakakaubos ng 2kg ng crea.

 

Up to now payat sya. Somewhere in QC ung gym, somewhere in Kalayaan???? Dont know eh

 

e baka naman take sya ng take ng creatine di naman sya nag wo workout.. puro daldalan inaatupag sa gym.. alam ba nya na di naman pampalake ng katawan ang creatine? hahaha..

 

kakatawa talaga.. madalas nga nakakakita ako locker room ng gym iinom ng creatine, tapos sa workout sus..halos di man lang pinagpapawisan e.. puro upo at daldalan lang pala aatupagin.. para san pa yung creatine nya.. :D

 

kaya nga wala yang theory theory na yan.. ako nga di ko alam mga tawag dun sa mga machine or workout na yan.. basta ginagamit ko lang..tapos..

A lot of trainers are dimwits and some are even the biggest steroid dealers in the gym.

 

Andrea, in all honesty, I wouldn't suggest any direct arm work for a beginner since this might get him carried away with it. Make him focus on the basics first. In regards to your friend, aside from a proper routine, his eating plan will make or break the routine

Madami ganyan in most gyms. I know a guy who always complained more than worked out and was wondering why di sha nagkakaresulta when the program I put him on was the same program I put my GF on and she is now deadlifting 120 lbs for 10 reps raw.

 

I always tell people that a guy on a crappy program working like an animal will always make better results than a guy on a good program working out half hearted

considering na di nga lahat ng magbobote at kargador maganda katawan, e di din naman lahat ng nag gy gym maganda din katawan hahahaha..

 

pero u have to consider di naman nagpapaganda ng katawan yang mga kargador at magbobote.. wala lang talaga alam na pagkakakitaan para makakain.. e yung mga nag gy gym.. kuntodo supplements pa.. kuntodo theories..

 

madalas nga may nakikita ako, punta sa gym palakad lakad lang.. upo..daldal..lakad..upo.. bench press 5 reps.. lakad uli..lakad uli.. upo..daldal..chika.. at sa bandang huli bigla itataas sando nya sabay pose sa salamin ng gym.. wow.. anlaki ..anlaki ng salbabida sa tiyan hahaha! :lol:

actually ako when i first started trimming down and going to the gym, the gym instructor part owner also tried to sell me fat burner.. di ako bumili.. i just sweat my way by working out like a horse, lifting non stop without rest..

 

i lost few lbs, and looked much better..

 

but the biggest improvement i had was after 3 yrs, that i started cleaning up my diet.. and doing long slow running, instead of short and fast 30 minute runs.. so who needs those fat burners anyway..

AKO MWAHAHAHHAHAHA!!! I NEED FAT BURNERS!!! adik adik adik adik adik...

 

kidding aside, fat burners will only give you sweaty armpits and a racing heart if you don't work out... You have to recognize the fact though that there are people out there who have had significant gains with them fat burners... The best way to do this talaga is to have two people do the same program, live the same lifestyle, eat the same food and one takes supplements, the other wala... then we can really see... But IMHO, kung pagtabi mo yung dalawang taong yun, I'd like to bet that the guy who's doing the correct workouts with the supplements will have better and more significant gains rather than the ones who did not take the supplements... The supplements should be the LAST thing to consider... although, kung payat ka at nagpapataba ka... pucha the supplements make a world of difference...

I haven't taken a supplement in ages but make sure my diet is decent enough. I've built more muscle and lost more fat than I've ever had in my entire life.

 

In regards to the klargador built, these guys can care less about aesthetics, their objective is to perform the task at hand. Function over form is their need. For those who have good aesthetics, it is but a byproduct of the GPP work they have done.

i agree with things you say about crash dieting. thats really bad and can cause you to eat more in the long-run.

 

and equus, i feel yah bro! used to be so freakin fat and it sure did took a lot of effort to be huge but lean. if i didnt join the track team back then, i may have been so so so so soooooooo fat!!! hehe!
