Personally Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time. Of course, with my age,

I wasn't able to see past legends and couldn't really make a comparison. But I have

witnessed players like karl malone, Kobe Byrant, Dave Robinson, Barckley, Reggie Miller,

Larry, and others. They were all in the hall of fame, but none beats Michael. I could say

that I enjoyed basketball because of watching Michael Jordan. Of course since his retirement

my interest in basketball dwindled to just watching once in a while and browsing website. Of

course I am updated on what is happening in NBA but none beats Michael Jordan.

well kahit pasahan naman nya ung mga kakampi nya noon wala rin. jordan told the management that he needs to be sorrounded by talented players in order for them to win. nung na develop si pippen and grant at nagstep up ung mga ibang team mates nila doon lang sila nanalo. i honestly believe if jordan was drafted by the lakers, rockets or some powerhouse team in the nba in the 80's he would bring championships to those teams during the early part of his career. even olajuwon mentioned in an interview if they got jordan in the draft it would make his job a lot easier. kaso he was drafted by the bulls. other than jordan wala ng magaling doon sa team na un noong time na un. kung sa pabilisan lang mag champion siguro mas malupit na si magic rookie year nag champion kaagad. but you have to consider that both magic and bird were sorrounded by great players. bird has parrish, mchale, nate archibald, maxwell, chris ford and ml carr to sorround him. magic had jabbar, norm nixon, jamaal wilkes, spencer haywood to sorround him. while jordan has only orlando woolridge and quintin dailey to sorround him. considering the bulls are not a strong team when they drafted him. of course hindi naman kaagad nagchampion si jordan noong dumating si pippen. it takes time before that would happen hindi naman pabilisan mag champion ang labanan dito eh. you have to consider that pippen was drafted out of obscurity. he came from a div. 3 school. iilan lang ang nakakaalam sa kagalingan ni pippen. pero noong nagchampion sila sunod sunod naman.

 

as for bird wala nga si mchale and parrish pero nandoon naman si dave cowens and nate archibald and host of talented players playing for the celtics. kung wala ung dalawang un hirap din siya na dalhin ang celtics. you cant blame jordan to take a lot of shots nung nagsisimula sya e wala syang kakamping pedeng sumoporta sa kanya pero nagchampion naman sila and thats what counts. later on na realized din naman nya un. he corrected his weakness kaya nga nagchampion sila ng anim na beses. as for bird after winning their last championship in 1986. they went back to the finals in 1987. kaso natalo sila ng Lakers :thumbsupsmiley: After that nawala na sila they lost to the pistons in 1988. In 1989 they lost to the pistons in the first round. Nung time na un injured si Bird. In 1990, they lost against the knicks in the first round again. By this time nandito na si Bird. In 1991, they lost to the pistons in the second round again. In 1992 they lost to the Cavs. So after going to the finals in 1987, he never went back again to the Finals.

 

Sa basketball swertihan lang kung makakapag champion ka kaagad. HIndi naman pabilasan magchampion ang labanan dito. Bastat makapagchampion ka tapos. You have to credit jordan for taking the bulls to the playoffs even if the bulls was a weak team at that time. there was one season he played point guard he average 32pts 8 reb and 8 assists. Well para sa akin si Jordan pa rin ang pinaka magaling. Kung gusto mo si Bird so be it. But I honestly believe if u put bird in the bulls team of jordan at si bird lang ang star player doon i doubt it kung madadala nya ung team na un.

 

End of Discussion lets not talk about larry bird anymore in this thread. There should be a Larry Bird for this one and besides ang karibal naman ni Larry Bird si Magic Johnson at hindi si Jordan. I don't see any sense of discussing Bird in the Jordan thread.
