can somebody help me with my destop pc problem?

 

yung desktop ko pag on mo, walang display, pero ok naman monitor ko,

tapos ayaw gumana ang cd drive, pero gumangana yung mga fans nya

wala akong narinig na beeps na sound, saan kaya ang problem ko?

 

gusto ko sana palitan yung power supply pero yung spare ko ay 24 pins yung plug tapos yung sa original ko ay 20 pins lang paano ba i convert yung 24 pins to 20 pins?

Seems like a normal memory problem to me. Alisin mo lang yun memory mo, tapos ireseat mo ulit. Tanggal kabit, may konting ihip saka tanggal ng alikabok sa memory, pag di nagwork post ka lang

if yes, the no video issue only happens within OS?

 

check cables again po....

 

kung kita mo bios.... check your drivers

is there a bang sign on device manager?

could your still boot from the cd?

for the power supply bro if you're going to convert it,you need to have a 24 pin sa MOBO mo...but if you still want to stick with your mobo e me mga bilihan ng 20 pin PSU... me hmr sa mandaluyong... me SOS din.. try mo din kung me mahahanap k sa tipid pc.kung wala kang nadinig n beeps sa pc mo... you can try this...

 

1. you can remove all peripherals sa pc mo like RAM, video (kung d built in ung s u including sound cards at lan cards na din),HD,CD and floppy disk (if any) but not the power to your computers mobo and PSU. at some point dapat mag be-beep yan dahil walang memory at video card ang MOBO mo (basic connection which are MOBO,PSU,Proc and control panel ng tower).

 

2. kapag nagbeep ang pc mo after removing those parts, try placing back the peripherals. First are the drives. It should still beep dahil wala pang memory at PCI and agp cards.

 

3. then place back the memory. At some point you must hear either a single beep for that or the video card beep.

 

4. then isa isahin mo ung ibang cards na....every card n nilalagay mo e one reboot sa system to listen to the beeps. that way you can find the culprit.

 

 

Hope this will help you eventhough it's tidious (tama ba spell ko?)One by one elimination of possible device failure din yan.

built in naman talaga ung VC ng mga laptops e...you will know by looking on system information sa start menu

i would advise not to adjust it kc baka d kaya ng resolution ng laptop mo e baka mag blue screen upon reacting yan e.

kasi balak ko mag swap ng power supply to see if the problem is in the power supply, i have a spare(i dont wanna buy another) but its 24pin to the mobo but yung mobo ko 20 pin lang

 

and ganun din talaga ang balak ko gawin kung may time ako, i have to strip down my pc and trace the problem, baka kasi meron may problem dito sa forum gaya sa akin and na solve na nya para di na ako mag aksaya ng time

Now my question is, what will i do to remove the noise coming from the Fan? can it be replaced with a quiter fan?

 

Next item: When the jacks for the microphone and speakers is connected, isnt it that the built in microphone and the local speakers is supposed to be cut-off? My unit seems not able to function like this, thus the noise from the fan is catched by the built in microphone. If plugging the jacks cut-off the built-in microphone, this will solve my problem because the headset unit is far from my laptop and wont get the humming sound from the cooling fan..

lets go with your computers fan...use flashlight then check mo ung fan kung me obstructions,kung wala e ibalik mo sa manufacturer and dont wait for it to stop dahil baka macra ng tuluyan yan.as for replacement,ask mo ung pinagbilhan mo kc d naman yan katulad ng PROC fan n madaling palitan. as for the connection.if your laptop has a built in mic and speaker,they should stop once you connect a speaker and mic on the laptop's jacks.I have a latop din kc,medyo luma nga lang and I'm doing the same pag me recordings at pag sound trip ako

And also ung bagong bili kong SAMSUNG Syncmaster 920NW 19'' Wide LCD ang labo.. ang sakit sa mata, lahat ng ng adjustment nagawa na, still ang sakit sa mata, pangit ng resolution though adjusted na xa sa 1440x900... nitry ko dalhin sa shop then tried ikabit sa 512mb 128bit Video, clear ng resolution... so sa tingin nyo kelangan ko bumili ng Video Card? bago lang kasi buong PC ko board ko ASROCK Nlife ata un, vista ready sa tingin ko dapat clear ang resolution ng lcd ko... Naka VISTA ultimate 32bit ako..

Hi,

 

My advise is try to do a BIOS upgrade first (download latest BIOS version from your computer manufacturer's website), niosy fan issues sometimes can be resolved by a BIOS update because when those issues are reported to the manufacturer what they usually do is upload a new BIOS version they controls how your fan works. Try it first before considering other options.

32 bit OS's are just for 32 bit MOBO's and proc's (makikita mo yan sa specs ng mobo at proc mo),same goes to 64 bit OS's which is for 64 bit devices.as for the LAN problem,kung na-try mo na na manual install using the disc and even update using ung windows mismo ang maghahanap e try mo magdownload sa labas...unless me sapi n ung LAN card mo or me cra cya sa system setup. as for your monitor,baka d lang kaya ng asrock mobo mo yan since you have isolated it using another pc e....those kind of MOnitors are high end kaya dapat at some point e capable din ung VC mo....hope this info helped you

all the 24 pin psu i have seen so far can be easily converted into 20 pins. Ussually may detachable 4 pins sa 24 pins. tanggalin mo lang yun bago mo ikabit sa mobo.

Di mo na siguro need buy ng additional memory, unless you are pllaning to use your PC sa hard core graphics games. Try mo lang lagyan ng driver yung onboard video card mo.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932520/en-us, try checking this site bro.. have u tried removing it first from the device manager then restart your system ba?try mo un... pag bumalik ung error e remove mo both ung NIC mo dun sa device manager then restart mo ulit.either conflict yan but accdg dun kc sa message e either conflict with vista un thru addressing kc with the device...bro ung VC mo b e me DVI like your monitor?have u tried using DVI?

since onboard LAN, check for updates sa manufacturers website mga updated drivers for your mobo.. kasi minsan ung mga drivers na kasama sa box di talaga nag wowork sa vista..kahit sinasabi na vista drivers sometimes meron sila mga updated drivers for them.. ung dedicated 128mb memory di pwede palitan kasi ung talaga ung sa VC mo.. ung shared pwede taasan kasi kinukuha nya un sa RAM mo,pro depende sa bios mo kung gano kalaki or kaliit mo sya pwede adjust..
