Ok here's what you want to know about Frontosa's they want deep water and they don't grosw fast, Fronts are one of the best fish ever because they are hardy and the looks are just geat. You can set up a tank with Boracay sand plus some Skull Rocks and make the water hard. Don't put plants or it will end up like a salad. I hope this helps. Quote Link to comment

I hope this helps. thanks for the info. i currently have 3 frontosa fry (1.5~2 inches) in my 50G tank w/ 1inch of sand as subtrate. i agree they look great, their fins somewhat blue :cool:, thou their body is kinda pale. im worried if they're eating or not. havent seen them actually eat. im feeding them sinking pellets & blood worms. bittercamp Posted January 26, 2007 Share Posted January 26, 2007 newbie here! guys plano ko mag alaga ng mga5 or 6 pcs na POGI.help naman kung anong set up kailangan ko and magkano magagastos ko overall.rough estimate naman dyan mga guys and paki pm sakin kung saan makakabili.yungmga size ng piso lang bibilin ko kasi gusto ko sila makita lumaki. another thing pa, nawasa ang tubig namin sa bahay and there is no way namay malapit na poso or deepwell. pano magiging safe yung tubig na galing nawasapara sa mga pogi para di sila mamatay. salamat ng marami.
