just got my new civic! drove to lipa using the star hi way. it was a sheer joy. the 1.8 liter IVTEC engine is no different from 2liter engine in terms of performance but in terms of fuel consumption, its like 1.5litr powertrain!

nope thats not a hatch is a 4 door compact thats the civic euro version but much much better than the asia and us veersion

baka naman nag overheat yan dahil walang tubig? naging kampati owner dahil bago. we cannot justify that yet since di natin nakausap owner what happened.

 

I just saw a brand new Honda Civic here in Makati with no plates yet and it overheated (if only you can see the smoke emanating from its radiator) .  Seems that the cooling system is not that good.  I've seen previous model Civics overheating so many times in the SLEX.

Mukha ngang galing pa sa casa and ide-deliver palang nung ahente kasi may kasunod na old body CRV and dalawa silang nagbubuhos ng tubig sa radiator from three 1.5 liter coke plastic containers.

Personally, di ko gusto ang design ng civic today. Blame it to compact car designs. But then again, lahat na yata ng kotse ngayon di maganda ang itsura except sa mazda 3 which i find a bit sexy. Old school still rulez! hehe joke lang.

I like the new civic tho I'm still not used to how the sidemirror is attached sa version dito. Euro version looks much much better. :boo:

You have to give it to Honda for trying to break out of their "conservative" and boring mode...superbly engineered cars but without much passion behind them...

 

Off all the Japanese compacts, though, the Mazda3 seems to get universal praise.

as always, mura parts sa banawe. pero kwidaw ka dun. dapat may kilala ka ng shop before ka pumunta. i suggest yellow pages ka muna. wag ka papatol sa mga "agents" around banawe. malaki sila magpatong. i know, because i experienced it. i got a surplus cervo last year for 6000, which i could have had for 5000. isa pa, wag ka punta mag-isa!

 

back to mitsubishi! i love my lancer. lakas humatak! i can always give newer cars an impromptu race sa slex at coastal. un nga lang since more than 10 years old na, medyo madalas sa talyer. but no problem because always available ang parts.

Ako din mitsu, glxi 96. bilis parin ng takbo... mura din ang parts kasi may suki na ako na talyer, alaga lang sa change oil saka iwas lubak...
