I've been a Honda Civic owner since the early nineties. Started with the EF, EG, and EK. I didn't bother getting the ES model (7th gen) because of its bad reputation.

Personally, am getting the 8th gen. Styling is very different and I have been waiting for this car for so long especially now that it is fitted with a M/T.

I will give some insights once I have the car.

hey bro, have you bought one? i'm thinking of gettine one for myself very, very soon... i'm awaiting for your assessment kse pareho tayong civic owners ever since... thanks!

I don't own the new Civic but it is a nice, sexy-looking car. Only comment is that the trunk is tiny relative to its overall size. The miniscule toyota vios has a much larger trunk.

My two dirty centavos.

Does anyone has the information on whether the latest honda civic model 2.0 has the same

engine as the old model 2.0. Very curious. Because thought of changing the car if the

engine is an upgrade

Same lang cla. Ang diff is yun mga minor add ons. like the drive by wire system. iba rin programming ng computer box. madali lang palita ng engine. you can get the old type r k20 and put it on your civic. symepre may mga d ka na magagamit like immobilizer, drive by wire. I suggest go to speedy fix and ask them about it. (312 Shaw blvd Mandaluyong. Beside puregold) the owners can give you good advice. look for migs, sya tanungin mo about that para ma explain syo furhter

My friends sister has a new 1.8L Civic... IMO it looks good on the outside but the interior is really cluttered and isnt spacious. I am actually more relaxed when inside my friends picanto when in the civic.

Just another prime example of form winning over function.

i share the same feeling about this car.. when it came out, it has that sporty appeal to me and elegant at the same time.. however, when i had the chance to ride in one of 'em, the problem is inside.
