khulahfoo
(Basta a law to that effect) Quote Link to comment
jackl
A law that will consolidate all the little barangays to have at least 10,000 voters each. This will save us a lot of tax money being wasted in all the nonsensical barangay projects. Cases in point are the two barangays near our place which already had three barangay hall each the last ones built for at least P 1 million budget. Both barangays have less than 300 voters between them. What a waste! Quote Link to comment

Making a penal law retroactive is dangerous and wrong because you are going to punish/penalize someone for something he/she did which was not yet a crime when he/she did it. When that someone did the thing, he/she did not commit a crime and, hence, he/she was never a criminal. Even if a person committed a crime when it was not yet punishable by death, the penalty which was adjudged to said person cannot and should not be elevated to death because that person has already been adjudged to suffer the penalty imposed upon him/her prior to the escalation of the penalty for the crime committed to death. Agree ako sa legalization of prostitution. At least, monitored ang sex industry workers and the state of their health. Minimized, if not eliminated, ang pagpasok ng minors sa prostitution. So, bakit maraming matatanda sa gobyerno? Dahil they have the option to avail of the aforestated retirement or retire at 70 years of age and get higher benefits. Quote Link to comment
MisterMiyagi
This one is a no brainer: No more stupid f-cking non-working holidays!!! WTF is wrong with us that we need another day off to celebrate Pacman's fight? The economy is in the toilet and people are clapping that they have another holiday. This is exactly why other nations pass us by. This country is just getting lazy. Quote Link to comment
