Tom-Tado Posted July 18, 2006 Share Posted July 18, 2006 I've been a loyal Globe user for a decade, and the servives are ok...but they're not too flexible with promos and phone giveaways unlike Smart. My dad tried to get a N80 from Globe by upgrading his plan (he has 8 lines!) to the 1500 plan but they said that they couldn't accomodate this. Only new lines at 1500 get the phone at reduced prices! Ang labo...meanwhile Smart was giving away free phones to postpaid subscribers in the same plan range for almost nothing! Quote Link to comment

They made their UNLIMITXT available for good but while it's aging, their services become poorer. They don't send you anymore warning that your Unlimitxt has been over or what... All you know is that you still have your good balance but you will be surprised the next day you got an empty load. And guess what? Just checking up my load yesterday, I Bal to 222 and got 421.50 balance result. Then I sent another txt message to a globe subscriber and send Bal for balance inquiry. i was shocked to see my balance to be 420.50 when in fact they are shouting over their ads that their txt message is only 0.90 cents per txt... (which of course higher than the other competitive network services)... I'm sure there are other guys there who have problems with Globe, let's wake them up so that they may improve their services... ^ED^GE^ Posted August 9, 2006 Author Share Posted August 9, 2006 kanya kanyang gamit naman yan eh, for me a cellphone is for txting and calling, not a status symbol. eh to some feel nila maganda impression sakanila pag naka globe sila eh sila yun. as for me since i transfered to sun a year and a half ago ok naman ako. same pa din mga ka txt ko at natatawagan ko. difference lang? cheaper billing ko. kasi na bawasan sa same network texting. =)and i dont have to deal with all those additional charges by globe. sa SUN pag sinabi plan 350 ka 350 talaga sa billing mo walang dagdag.sa globe b4 ang dami extra charges, tandaan nila service provider sila we shouldnt have to be the ones paying for dollar exchange , or additional covergae or upgrades. we pay for the time we use calling and texting (b4 nga libre ang text) Quote Link to comment

I just inquire about the sudden lost of my P300 load after 3 days I loaded, suddednly said customer Service advice me to load again, what a bullshit!!!. I Am not against Smart but am against there Customer service in SM Sta. mesa. Because of that I changes my SIM to Globe. Up to now encounter no complaint against them if there was one, only a minor one, which there Very Helpful Customer Assistant were able to answer. Pesteng_a Posted August 22, 2006 Share Posted August 22, 2006 i'm a subscriber of sun, smart and globe. both for corporate and individual accounts. over the yrs all the companies have improve its really just a matter of choice. for highend users (plan 5000 and up) i think smart has a beter service. for plans below 5000 i think globe has a better service. sun?? whatt can you expect? sa mura ng rates paano pa mabibigay ng service na maganda. may refund pa ako dapat from sun amounting to close to 7OOO. 8 months na d parin nila ako ma refund. But I simply cannot give up my line because of the vanity number that I got then which I am still using now. Sana nung kaka start pa lang ng smart infinity nag apply ka o switch. free vanity numbers nila. better service pa. i have several infinity lines, pag may kailangan ako, yun account manager pupuntahan ako weder at home in the office or wherever...hehehe. globe platinum supot. lalo na pagdating sa free phones. kailangan takutin mo pa na e cancel bago magbigay ng free. unlike smart sila pa tumatawag.
