  1. guys who are quiet and who prefer staying in the corner chair of a bar.

I'm attracted to those types of guys too. Quiet pero matindi :goatee:

But I think that's more of a style at ugali nang guy so that might not be

    unusual enough.

I don't think it's unusual but I want my man not to be hairy on the chest and armpits.

I don't like a lot of hair when I'm laying on his arms cuddling after making love.

And forearm...NO, I'm not into fisting! But I like a strong forearm for me to run my

hands and fingers on while I'm talking to him.

And yes ears...weird but I love my hubby's big ears....come to think of it, everything about him turns me on. :thumbsupsmiley:

  2. I love my stilettos, wedges, peep toes, strappy heels, and anything sexy on my feet.

As they say, "if they don't hurt ya, they're not sexy" or something to that effect.

So I'm paying for it with back and aching feet but hey I'm a woman so looks comes first. :thumbsupsmiley:

Funny, when I do wear flat or tennis shoes, dun ako nadadapa o natatapilok :upside:

  3. I'm out of shape and I started with Slim in 6 videos and enjoyed it so much I bought the other follow up video and

the family of Power 90, Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs, Winsor Pilates and my recent purchase The Firm. I love them!

And for someone who hates working out, these are so much fun that I look forward to doing them everyday...

kung minsan 2x a day pa....kahit hatinggabi na nagwowork out pa din ako.

I like that I can change my routine everyday with all the variety of workouts. If I don't

have time, I do the Slim in 6 or just the abs or legs...any target area for about 10 to 20 mins.

The Firm combines cardio and sculpting (with weights) and great workout.

A great cardio work out for me is something that is easy to follow and motivating. Kung mahirap follow yung

steps then mapa=frustrate lang ako. I have to enjoy it, not be boring but it has to have variety and

    some degree of challenge/difficulty.

  4. Thank you Lord for giving me a wonderful supportive husband who stands behind all my decisions.

Thank you for giving me a clear mind to know that it wouldn't have worked out at all and putting me back on

the right track to achieve my dreams and goals.

Thank you for the wonderful friendship that I was able to restore....for giving me the courage to

    be honest.

  5. since downsizing...yipee!...I've been addicted to jeans and nothing but jeans.

I love my Rock and Republic, Citizens for Humanity, Lucky, and my ever fabolous second skin, Sevens (Seven for All Mankind).

I live in my jeans so they are worth every penny kahit pricey.

In fact, I've negotiated it at my work that I wear my jeans, basta dark, twice a week. :thumbsupsmiley:

but hubby said I'm just working to buy more jeans...lol!

I hope Santa is gettin' me some Sevens this Christmas I've been really good at being a naughty girl :thumbsupsmiley:

  6. hot rice with fresh gatas nang kalabaw and tuyo

(ewan ko kung bakit walang makitang fresh gatas nang kalabaw yung bantay ko nun umuwi ako diyan...

wala bang kalabaw sa manila? )

I don't know if this is my mom's family exclusive recipe or if it's authentic probinsyang Kapampangan dish but

none of my Manileno friends knows or eat this ginisa sa kamatis na malungay stalks with pork...super sarap! :thumbsupsmiley:

  7. since hubby and I decided that our little girl will be our last one,

ki-combine ko lahat nang mga pangalan nang ninuno ko as our way of honoring them

    We came up with Aiva-Fionna Dolce....)pronounced Dul'che')

I insist that they call her Aiva-Fionna (first name niya) and not just Aiva.

my boys' names are Gabriel Alonso (Gabe) and Nicholas Lorenzo (Niko/Nikki/Nick)...

  8. there's this little place in Hawaii that serves this squid black ink pasta...they warn you that you have to brush your

teeth afterward and will leave a black mark on your lips and teeth...sarap talaga...I haven't found any places

that serve the same dish here in the mainland.

I love Guida DeLaurentis's recipes from FoodNetwork. I've tried most of her recipes and they're delicious and a sure

hit with my friends and family. One in particular, her special Macaroni and Cheese with 3 or 4 cheeses. Super delish talaga!

For when I'm out of time and have to whip up something for my kids, I make their fave pasta...I discovered it by

accident ( they couldn't wait for the sauce so they ate the pasta by itself) ngayon they don't even want the marinara sauce with their spaghetti.

I boil the spaghetti according to the package directions. When I drain, I reserve about a cup of pasta water.

I put olive oil, butter on the pasta and some of the pasta water. Then sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese

( you can try the more expensive fresh parmesan cheese then grate it but my kids love the cheap grated parmesan cheese),

oregano flakes, and salt to taste. Yun lang ang they gulp it down. Cheap and easy!

let me if you dare try it and if you do like it! :D

  9. hi ganda nman mga bags mo

    i love bags din!

by the way magkano ba ang chanel bag?

I got the chanel on sale...my gf works for Chanel and got 20% disc...as for the price, it put me back a couple of grand -_-

i ended up swallowing my words.

i said somewhere on this thread before that i hate the marc jacobs-era LV. especially the multicolore.

well waddyaknow. i inherited a speedy multicolore from a very retail-addicted aunt. including a blue birkin, a camel kelly, another monogram speedy, a yellow epi papillon, a lambertson truex, a couple of microfiber pradas from waaay back (the black backpack and the brown shopper), and a big bally trolley (better than the ugly duffel lacoste i've been using for my out of town jaunts). and to sweeten the deal, a brand new orange satin quilted prada evening bag (with gold hardware). all the items, save for the brand new prada, come with their original dustbags/boxes/tags whatnots. and they all look like they've never been used. lucky me. :D

i think even if i don't shop for any other new bag between now and the time of my retirement, i'll be set for life. am even thinking of putting the hermes items on sale through tresor.com but i don't know if i can bear to part with them! :P

wow! you're one lucky girl! I say use the hermes for several months then sell them. that's what i do then when i'm tired of them or want a new bag. I sell them on ebay. But most of the time, my girlfriends would buy them off me before i get a chance to list them on ebay.

the speedy bags are going back in style now. i just gave my mom my old gucci speedy now i don't know how to tell her that

i want it back kahit ilang months lang. the "clutch" bags are also back. I'm glad I kept my fave black suede gucci clutch bag.

Now, if I can only find a nice place to wear these...as a stay-at-home mom , taga hatid lang ako nang mga bata sa school at

taga grocery....nasa barrio din kami so parang over dress ako palagi. <_<

  10. having good skin is the secret to looking young.don't forget to put on sunscreen before going out.go get a facial regularly.even if i dont have acne i still go to my derma to get a diamond peel,it removes dead skin & the effect is you'll have this rosy glow & your skin wont look dull.& i do swear to bodyshops vitamin e night cream it makes my face feel so smooth & dewey.it's ok even if i dont wear makeup i just put on lip gloss & i'm ready to go & I shock people everytime I tell them how old i am.& one more secret to looking young is getting the right hairstyle, coz there are some hairstyles na nakaka losiang.go to a good stylist to help you out.

    I totally agree with you!

And to add to that, in order to look young you have to have a balanced well being. I don't stress over unsignificant things and if anything is "too much trouble", I just don't bother with it. Laughter and distressing keeps wrinkles away :P

  11. when I shop, I don't shop for any particular designer brand. I head towards the SALE or CLEARANCE rack... or any store that has those big signs. :P :D

If it happens to be Donna Karan, BCBG, BCBG Max Azria, Banana Republic or any other designer brands...basta maganda ang quality and material

at tama yung price then isusuot ko. I'm a bargain hunter at heart and I hate to pay for anything full price. :P

If I'm dying for a particular look but just can't afford the designer look then I copy the look for less money na lang but not with fake designer label

(kasi mahal din yun kahit fake). Sino ba naman ang titingin sa tag nang damit ko? And I truly avoid those big designer names written across my chest.

Mas gusto ko pang magsando na lang ako nang simpleng puti. But for a good power suit, dapat you really have to look for quality and that's where

the designer labels are worth their hefty price tag. Pero kung designer t-shirt lang, not worth the money.

But now that I'm a stay-at-home mom, you'll find me in velour track suit, or jeans and C&C California tees or any brand graphic tees (no not the dumb shirts)...I find Victoria Secret's velour track suits a good price for the quality. Juicy Couture is just way too expensive for me. Pang araw araw lang eh. For jeans, I like my affordable American Eagle jeans. I like my Citizens for Humanity pricey jeans but for a least expensive alternative maganda na din yung AE. I tried 7 jeans and I like the way they fit but didn't get one yet...yun ang "price" ko when I and if I lose 20 lbs. :P
