  1. LOL, there's no such player where he destroyed everybody he faces, prime Jordan is the closest to your definition of GOAT, nobody can touch him yet you're out here criticizing his first 5 years in the league, and Bill Russel?, the guy who played when there were only 10 teams in the league

Really? Bill Russel destroyed every great player in his path. So what are you implying? That a league having ten teams is weak? On the contrary, when the league had 10 teams, talent was concentrated unlike today, with 30 teams, the talent is diluted. With 10 teams, only the creme de la creme can make it to the NBA. 150 players can only make it in the NBA in the 60s. Today, 450 players can make it to the NBA. Jordan is not my choice for GOAT. He is your GOAT.

  2. chief, i was really disappointed with kyrie's performance specially during the bucks series. i never thought, even in my imagination, that he'd fail to deliver big time. i was hoping he would be "THE ONE" who'd bring the Cs back to the nba finals. honestly, yes the Cs, unlike last year's run to the ECF, lost ball movement where almost everybody contributed. rozier was a revelation last year but lost significant playing time this season because of kyrie. will the Cs go after AD? could he be that player who will lead the Cs over the hump?

Same here, chief. Like I said in my posts here, I couldn't care less where Kyrie lands up. He can go to LAL with his king for all I care and be the prince. As for AD, I think Ainge will gun for him but it will come at a steep price. My guess is Jayson Tatum and a couple of players for salary fillers. A starting five of Horford, Davis, Brown, Smart and Hayward looks intriguing. I like Tatum but that Bucks series made me wish for AD.

  3.

Kyrie is a disappointment on defense and offense during the playoff against the Buck.

so its better for the Celtics to cut the ties with him and find someone who can lead the young roster.

    No argument here

  4.

imo Brown and Tatum can be traded for any FA...

    Rosier possible gone next season

And Ainge doesn't care who will be gone next season as long he stays

Do you mean Kyrie Irving? Danny and Brad gave Kyrie a chance to lead the Cs this season. Unfortunately, he can't cut the mustard. For me, Kyrie is akin to a Mchale or James Worthy. A great complimentary superstar but not an alpha-level player to lead you to the promised land. At the beginning of the season, I was high on Kyrie. I expected him to lead the Cs to the Finals. Unfortunately, the regular season was a portent of things to come. Although the regular season is not the playoffs, the regular season showed what kind of leader he is. He criticized and alienated team mates. I ignored it since the goal was to win a championship. Kyrie unraveled in the Milwaukee series. What was supposed to be his showcase series turned out to be a dud for Kyrie. I am not exactly sure if a majority of Celtics fans want him back because I certainly don't care where he goes. If he signs with the Cs, Brad should make him follow his system which is predicated on crisp ball movement and superstar hero ball to which Kyrie was accustomed to.

  5. though iggy is out for game 4 today. yes, it's still the core of the 2015 champion team.

Curry and Green had triple doubles. Even without KD, the Ws stamped their class against thr Blazers. Curry should play like that against the Bucks because their margin of error against Bud’s Bucks isn’t exactly that big, chief.
  6.

He should be careful. Eusebio's supporters who are still dominant in Pasig City Hall may conspire against him.

He will need his uncle's support and he should always watch his back.

They could but he probably knows which city hall employees to watch out for. Moreover, Vico told Karen Davila during an interview that 55% of city hall positions are still vacant. It goes without saying that those 55% will be loyal to Vico because it is with his approval that city hall employees are hired. I see a bright political future for this young man.

  7. Natural na ganyan talaga ang mangyayari. This is a basketball nation country. Kung sinuman ang team na nasa playoff yun ang paguusapan siyempre. Alangan naman pagusapan ang mga talunang team.

I am talking about fair-weather fans. Fair-weather fans are only cheering if the team is winning and disappear when the team is down. If you're a real fan, you would still talk about your team even if your team lost. Fair-weather fans are the most despicable kind of fans.

  8. Dear Peke,

I didn't know you are magnanimous in defeat. Will you also accept that you are just a fake vice president?

Vice President Leni Robredo is urging supporters of Otso Diretso to stop behaving badly online and accept the crushing defeat as the will of the people.

“Nagsaway na nga ako sa Facebook kasi marami tayong— Naiintindihan natin kung gaano ka-frustrated iyong marami nating mga supporters pero nagsaway na ako… marami na masyadong, parang name-calling. Marami nang, parang, insultuhan, na tingin ko, hindi makakatulong,” Said Robredo in an interview with DZXL.

“Naiintindihan natin na marami iyong sama ng loob, pero parating ang hinahanap natin, solusyon. Parating, ano ba iyong gustong sabihin ng resulta ng eleksyon at papaano natin maaayos?” she added. Robredo said they were better off doing some soul-searching and determine how they have reached this “disappointing” point just three years after the end of the Aquino administration.

  9. Paulit ulit, so just because a prime Bird beat a young MJ so does Thomas and Dumars di na GOAT si MJ?, so sino GOAT sa basketball in your book?

Yes, he couldn't possibly be a GOAT because a GOAT, for me, should beat every superstar he played against. He never beat Larry Bird in the playoffs. That is only one of the reasons why I don't consider him the GOAT. As for the other reasons, backread. Bill Russell.

  10. LMAO, if you're talking about all time it includes until today, who is still being talked until today as the GOAT?, if you watch Open Court and they have hosts who are FORMER NBA players not like us who are spectators and they are asked for their Top Ten players of all time Bird doesn't even show up in their list, Shaq was even ahead of him, all of them unanimously placed MJ as number 1, so you can throw all the "stats and facts" all you want even include the 80s in which Bird was in his prime but in the end it's still MJ as GOAT until today

I am not talking about who is being talked about today as the GOAT. I am talking about Jordan being destroyed time and again in the 1980s. That is their opinion but if you want, I can show you opinions of other players. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but they are not entitled to their own facts. I am not gonna say that Bird is the GOAT but he is ahead of Jordan when it comes to that status. Jordan never beat Bird in the playoffs and that's one fact that Jordan fans tend to overlook. Moreover, he couldn't get past the Pistons or Bucks in the 80s.

  11. Then your definition of GOAT is wrong, there's no player in modern team sports who absolutely dominated everybody, yes it is synonymous to winning but you can't make the excuse of "no he lost out on those years that's why he's not the GOAT", part of their greatness is overcoming struggles, if MJ came right out of the gate winning left and right less people would have appreciated his greatness, just like Westbrook's statline, part of being GOAT is being able to overcome obstacles, MJ was not a winner in his first few years so he strived and stuck to his team waited for them to develop, that's why LeBron will never be as great like MJ

And yours is right? You say that MJ is the greatest of all time with emphasis of "all time" which includes the 1980s. The last thing I remember about Jordan in the 1980s is his Bulls incessantly got destroyed by the Bucks, Pistons and the Cs. So no, he isn't the greatest of all time. I will concede him being the greatest player of the 1990s but of all time? That's quite a stretch. No matter how you rationalize, the facts that I presented can't be controverted.

  12. I can see that the Bucks in this forum don't have real fans. Naging fans lang kasi nananalo.

If the Bucks become champions, this page will have 50 pages before the year ends because madami bigla naging fans, fair-weather fans.

  13.

The Cs should trade for AD. I leave it up to Ainge to pick who is going to be expendable.

If the Cs don't get AD, they should give the KD option another try. Kyrie Irving may be gone and I couldn't care less. I don't mind KD signing with the Cs if he opts out of his contract. At least, the Cs won't have to trade Tatum and Brown. Ainge will definitely look for this option.
