  1. Ummmm... Is it just me. Or does anybody else here think that the unification bout with Nog ought to come first before a 'supposed' title defense against Lesnar?

And Brock? A title shot? this early? Sheesh. Give me a break Dana.

As for his statements about the Affliction MMA PPV he better not think they'll die that easy he's goin up against good old new york bada** Donald Trump here so he better keep his guard up or Mr. Trump just might pull a fast one on him.

  2. i'd like to see how he takes a punch from Liddel, damn Chuck should shut that boys mouth.

BTW i hope Ken wins against Kimbo, he should win to make up for the fights he lost and same time to silence all those Kimbo bandwagoners.

Yup I certainly hope so too. Kimbo is nothing but hype if you ask me and Ben Rothwell would wipe the floor with him in my opinion.

  3. I guess after Affliction Banned!? Dana realized that the fight should happen in the UFC and not in other promotions. This would spare Randy and Zuffa(UFC) all the legal troubles. As copromoting with M-1 for the Fedor fight?! Hmm... Anything is possible as long everybody gets their fair share! Randy vs. Fedor make it happen!!! :thumbsupsmiley:

Well everything is possible as long as everybody is happy. All the promoters really want is to make profit and surely both M-1 and the UFC would benefit from such a superfight. Apart from this fact keep in mind that both Randy and Fedor are fighters and yeah the money is nice and all but at the end of the day what matters most is that lingering desire to prove yourself the superior fighter.

Matagal na nilang gustong "magkaalaman na" so for our sakes (and the promoters and both Randy and Fedor) sana matuloy na itong laban na ito. Randy is a phenomenal athlete but let's face it everyone's gotta grow old, everyone's gotta go past their prime at some point in time and all the fight fans want to have a match wherein we have the best Fedor face the best Randy at the soonest possible time.

Or... the chance just might pass us by and we might have to settle for a movie to decide this one hehe (ala Rocky Balboa).

  4. there's a new cute girl in women's tennis. Caroline Wozniacki.

unfortunately, she just lost last night to jankovic. probably will go in the top 10 by next year.

Pre, nung wimbeldon she lost to Jankovic too in much the same fashion (winning the first set then losing the next two). Matagal ng crush ni azayco dito sa forum yan.

  5. i'm a great Fan of Chuck.. as you can see,, un ang name ko d2.. hehe.. mukang malakas ang opponent nya ngaun.. hmm.. lets just see if Chuck "iceman" Liddell can continue his crusade to gain the LHW title..

Well yah, malakas. But for me apart from that draw with Tito (an injury ridden, "older" Tito) he really hasn't proven anything yet. This fight with Chuck is his chance.

  6. nice rich is back in 205? anderson silva's on 205..

Anderson is "not really" at the 205 weight class. I mean he did fight at 205 at the last UFC Fight Night but as he stated right after his 90 second demolition of James "the Sandman" Irvin "His duty is to defend the belt at 185". So I guess he is staying at Middleweight.

As for Ace going up in weight I guess he's just accepted the fact that right now nobody at 185 has a chance at the Spider. He's decided to get back to LHW to sample out the competition first and see if he's gonna stay there. Maybe he just wants a lil momentum back before trying to take on Silva again.

  7. ufc 88's gonna be awesome! chuck liddel versus rashad evans!

I find this main event a lil "stacked" for Chuck. I mean you have a short, stocky LHW who's only chance of winning would be to take Chuck down and try to Pound or Grind out a Decision victory (easier said then done just ask Randy and Tito) and all Chuck has to do is defend against the takedown and pick his spots against Evans (which is basically what he is really good at).

This I think is just a vehicle to try and put the spotlight back on Chuck. I mean apart from his recent win against Wand (which was a classic by the way) he certainly lost some luster (and that aura of "invincibility") when he had back to back losses against Quinton Jackson and Keith Jardine.

  8. Oki dok, tapos na ang Olympics...Next, ang last Grand Slam of the Season, the US open in flushing meadows NY...

We have a new number 1 player for Mens and Women's tennis...Rafael Nadal and Ana Ivanovic (yup she's back at the top...I don't know how  ) A thumb injury will definitely limit her chances on winning her first US open.

Yes, that is quite weird. Jalena Jankovic was number one coming into Beijing and Ana didn't even play I wonder how she got the number one spot back.
