never ever: bring drinks or foods in the beach! you'll be fined. there are sand police there.

parang over advertised ang la union when it comes to west side beaches. ilocos coastline has a bad reputation of rough slopes. meaning: the beach don't slope gently towards the sea, not kid-friendly at all when it comes to bringing kids to swim. as far north as saud beach resort, ganun pa rin ang water margin. why not try the ones at the east side? super kid-friendly, gentle slopes. enjoy!

Maki-mi at Ha Yuan Restaurant at Masangkay. Way back 1990, I wonder if they still offer that dish.
Maki at Ha Yuan in Mother Ignacia serves the dishes more authentic. I hope their old mother is still alive, last saw her before pandemic, must be 90ish by now. her son Jopeph, probably 70ish is still running the kitchen.
try their their kiampong. still my favorite, authentic as any Hokkien dish they offer. maki is incomparable to elsewhere.

even Chuan Kee is turo turo. haba pila na, unlike before.

me open pa bang chickboy? all of my friends who opened a franchise closed even before the pandemic

It's so comforting to see your posts, Sir Asmo. I will try the one's in the pictures you recently shared. But since I have no more acquaintances to share these with, might as well visit some clubs and introduce myself to new young ladies.

came here on a weekday 2 weeks ago. the place is crowded. not as romantic anymore when there were only a handful of tables with eating clients. water's still cool touching my feet. but it doesn't feel any special anymore.

Ha Yuan
my favorite branch of Ha Yuan is beside St. Paul's Church at Mother Ignacia. still strictly Hokkien type dishes. didn't like Ha Yuan at Banawe and Binondo. their kiam png is still the best. maki without the mi is the best of all maki too!

been here and stayed for 2 days with my family. be ready for almost 1.5k per person per meal. also, 10k+ per room. at night it's eerie: it's a ghost town during the Spanish era, with a few lights on, you're surrounded with old buildings, very dark shadows, etc. the nearest watering hole closes 10pm.

look for paul when you're in Alona Beach. he's the top guy in firedancing there.
by the way, the beach was named after Alona Alegre during the bomba years, 1970's

I need an app developer for mobile (android and iOS)

I need a programmer for an app. Probably an expert in Flutter/Dart para iOS na, Android pa. Any recommendation? I will check reply to this post every week.

I'm particularly looking for a cd or program, circa 2000, called "Maggie's Farmyard Adventures" which I believe was the greatest/best interactive program for kids 3 years old to 8 years old. It was developed by Electronic Arts. I used to play the program for my kids, now I'm a lolo and looking for a working copy. willing to pay 3,000 pesos once it's installed in my laptop.
of course I will be using an OS emulator to make it work in Windows 10 (it's original OS was for Windows 7?)

the owner of Music Box, Wowie, passed away recently. may he rest in peace.
he's been a very good friend. he helped aiai, arnel (ignacio), etc. to achieve tv greatness after getting enough experience in Music Box.

note 5 dual sim pwede rin lagyan ng memory card yun isang sim slot.
I think, just like S6 non-edge, dual sim Note 5 is only available in the Philippines

Out of the topic, just a complaint: bought a Fundador Imperial in SM supermarket. when I got home I removed its plastic top cover revealing its cork plug. As usual, I used a regular corkscrewDidn't expect the cork will break into 2, disintegrate, with the lower half dropping inside the liquid. Oh yeah, could it be that all Fundador are being made by Andrew Tan's group now?
