I never liked the new bands coming up nowadays that call themselves "Metal".

 

I had a long-time liking for Cradle of Filth and Children of Bodom, but I don't really know if they are

classified as being metal bands.

 

I still listen to their music now, except for COF's latest album, "Thornography", which I found rather poor.

if you are looking for traditional metal, wala na siguro or should i say bihira na, most of the bands today are hybrid, you wont really get the same thing like it was before. thats why i understand your comment about bands today, its either crappy or crappier.
