If you're up 35-nil with the game out of freakin' reach, bench your starters for crying out loud. There's nothing more classless than rubbing the salt into the wound. The Pats only humiliated themselves by again, stooping to that level. It's almost like beating up a midget---it's fun for like 15 seconds but knowing that you're going to win anyway regardless of what kind of struggle the little guy provides just sucks the whole fun out of winning. So why beat the crap out of the dude when one blackeye would do? It cheapens the game, it undermines the purpose of competition. I'm really disappointed in those Pats. They've had this winning tradition going on for quite a while, you'd think they'd have the "conduct yourself like a champion" thing down by now. Just my 2 cents anyway.
