Didn't see the werdum fight, and someone on the internet spoiled Gonzaga/Crocop for me. They said he looked like Mezger in the Mezger/Liddell fight (Pride something, I forgot). Not a bad UFC, we get another "upset" I'm willing to take a screenname bet for the Rampage/Liddell fight. I'm going with Rampage. XTC Posted April 23, 2007 Share Posted April 23, 2007 Gonzaga is a more rounded fighter than crocop we can't blame crocop for not closing in and taking the fight to gonzaga early for fear of a takedown like what we've seen when he executed that hard body kick to gonzaga. rudepnoy4 Posted April 23, 2007 Share Posted April 23, 2007 lucky thing its his right ankle not the left one, but i doubt it if hes still gonna be the same as before for sure something broke in there . gonzaga took a cue from lord fedor, you dont have to take him down the ground, just dont be scared to trade with him and keep going straight at him, but for god sake stay on his left side . cc doesnt handle non stop pressure that well .
