Olympus
It would be best one starts out with a foundation art first before divulging into mma. Quote Link to comment

fry_saging
IMO, mas maganda siguro kung tatangalin na ang elbow sa mix martial arts. Sobrang lethal kasi ang elbow strikes. Tlagang career threathening pag napuruhan ka Quote Link to comment
Larry
Tlagang career threathening pag napuruhan ka not really the head just holds a lot of blood that's why when you get cut on the forehead it bleeds so much. It's not as bad as it looks. Big Daddy walked out on his own power after the fight after having bled so much, he still didn't show any outward signs of any real damage. Pro-wrestlers even cut themselves in the forehead in the middle of bouts to have that theatrical bleeding effect (see Ric Flair, Mankind, Abdullah the Butcher) props to BJ for a great win, Joe was outclassed in every single way. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd105/manhattan_010/7698034_7_2.jpg http://www.sherdog.com/_images/pictures/55/54754_sm.jpg Quote Link to comment

abigor99
ok so what would be a good foundation? Di ba mahirapan mag adapt after wards to MMA? Quote Link to comment
boogey man
A great foundation would be kickboxing..strenthen kicks and punches..or you can start with BJJ..=) Quote Link to comment
o0onapstero0o
ok so what would be a good foundation? Di ba mahirapan mag adapt after wards to MMA? i would say its BJJ! in my observation, most bjj blackbelts are well rounded! Quote Link to comment
Olympus
ok so what would be a good foundation? Di ba mahirapan mag adapt after wards to MMA? Any of these arts would be a good foundation: boxing, kickboxing, bjj judo, wrestling Quote Link to comment
wEbStAr
yep! thats rnc and not a guillotine! anyway, i wasnt able to catch kendal grove's match? ive heard he's been beaten up so bad! Yup! I can say nagulpi sya ni Jorge Rivera. Tiklop talaga yung tuhod nya with a left shot.(Correct me na lang if I'm wrong.) Ok din yung Lambert and Gouveia fight! A one shot wonder! But it all boils down that a win is a win! Quote Link to comment
Larry
gouveia/lambert is a very good example of a puncher's chance. Quote Link to comment
boogey man
strikers rules..just have to be good at anti takedown Quote Link to comment
