TEQUILAJOE
Just finished watching TUF 9 finale and all i can say is HARDCORE!!!!! The bout between sanchez and guida was fantastic. Both guys came out swinging at the beginning of the first round, although guida had no chance standing up with sanchez. I believe sanchez connected about 4-5 clean uppercuts before guida was able to take him to the ground. Guida has an iron chin after recovering from a nice head kick that sent him to the canvass on the latter part of round 1. Even on his back diego controlled the fight, he was able to dictate the pace and connect with those massive elbows. Not to mention the kimura attempts from the guard on rounds 2 and 3. Another fight that i liked was with joe "daddy" stevenson and nate diaz. Excellent octagon control by stevenson, i've never seen such beautiful matt control in a long time. The two warriors were doing submission left and right in the entire match. I liked the first guillotine attempt by diaz, it was really tight, but stevenson was able to utilize his strength and power his way out of it. This has got to be the best joe stevenson i've seen in the octagon. Sana lahat ng PPV event ng UFC ganito ka exciting. Ang ganda ng match making nila sa event na to. Cant wait for UFC 100..........LET'S GET IT ON!!!!! Quote Link to comment
riceb0i
Yup the Iranian guy. I wonder who won though I have no word yet. Will post the results once I have em. I'll be rolling with Norman Go and the rest of Gracie Barra Cebu next month when I'm in that part of the country. Hopefully I'll get a chance to roll with Sabah. Great fights yesterday during the Ultimate Finale. The Guida / Sanchez fight was an instant classic.nice your going to Cebu, there's this dude from the MMA Phil forums that trains in G-B Cebu he also sells fight shorts with that monkey logo he calls his "company" MacaCo fightwear hehehe kapag naka roll mo din mga tiga G-B sabihin mo naman samin dito kung gaano sila kagagaling Quote Link to comment

ryujin6190
Sanchez Pockets $90K at TUF 9 Finale Not bad at all! That excluded the $45 K win bonus that Diego got. Just imagine how much that money (90K + 45K) in Pesos... Quote Link to comment

Unanimous Decision. Awesome striking on display daw. flying knees, spinning heel kicks ginawa daw punching bag si Andrew. Panalo din daw si Mark Ediva kaso nagrereklamo yung nakalaban niya parang nilagyan daw ng pampadulas ang katawan niya. Similar to that so-called allegation BJ Penn's camp had regarding GSP after they fought. Quote Link to comment

King Nothing
hey guys for the lack of focus on my part on what to do today... I got to the ufc website and checked it out... What I notice...The LW division has 51 fighers, while thw WW 38, MW 41, LH 36, HW 24 fighters respectively...Should the UFC come up with a new division? I think they should come Up with Ultralightweight division for the small LW like tyson griffin. Id say 135 or 145 for the Ultralightweight while 155 for the lightweight. I think that's what the WEC is for.. or maybe a superheavyweight for guys 250 and up Quote Link to comment
King Nothing
bantamweight at 145?? I think that's what the WEC is for.. or maybe a superheavyweight for guys 250 and up but there's no bantamweight in UFC. Plus the "ultralight" weigth sound like "light heavy" I doubt the super heavy since so far lesnar is the only I saw with that kind of size... He so f*ckin huge! Quote Link to comment
maddromeo
Lower weight classes thats what the WEC is for Sir! And Super HW di naman kelangan yun for the UFC! Kasi lahat naman are able to cut at 265lbs. In Dream Heavyweight, walang limit thus having the Super Hulk Tournament! There's lot more MMA outside the UFC Sir... Try watching Dream, WEC & Strikeforce! Ok!? :hypocritesmiley: Quote Link to comment

That is correct 'the Persian Assasin' (nauna nya pa tong maisip kesa ke Razzi Jbarri hehe) I think they're in the 140 - 150 lbs. weight class if I'm not mistaken. Meron nga ata nitong July as sir mads stated. either that or mauuna yung event na planned for Dumaguete. September University Challenge naman ulit. Quote Link to comment
