pr0nmast3r
GSP is the interim champ. Serra is still the champ. Laban na yan.. GSP all the way! Quote Link to comment
cryptkpr
just saw the fight. wow! hands down to GSP. i'm in awe with this guy. brilliant would be an understatement. totally dominated matt hughes in the fight. arguably the best pound for pound mma fighter there is. can't wait to see the GSP-serra II. i think serra's win in the first fight was a fluke. GSP was dominating him early in the standup. just got too confident and took serra's punching power lightly until he got nailed with one. after seeing this 3rd fight with hughes, i'm quite sure serra would be KO'd or submitted in the 1st round. i'm also very impressed with lyoto machida. not the most exciting fighter but definitely the smartest i've seen. unlike most fighters, he doesn't get off balanced after throwing a kick. totally dominated the african assasin. i'd like to see him fight one of the top light heavyweights to see how he'd fare against the big guns. SevenZeroFive
ok, before everybody gets pissed with Solar.. Balls had the rights to the live telecast, & Solar aired UFC 79 delayed (they aired it @ 10pm), as well as Studio 23.. thank god i was channel surfing, if not i wouldn't have seen the promo for the Balls telecast on Myx.. great card top to bottom, although i was a bit sad that Wanderlei lost.. he's one of my favorites, but Chuck had the advantage.. Palakol
may nanood ba ng MMA na laban sa subic noong nakaraang sabado? Quote Link to comment
pr0nmast3r
@705 yeah i was able to catch the rd 3 of the liddell-silva fight all the way to the end. gsp was really dominating too bad silva lost... Quote Link to comment
The_Blade
napanood ko sa solar then sa studio 23 ang laban kagabi. galing ni ice man inspite 2x sya bumagsak. over powered nya si WS! but have to give credit to silva tibay din ng panga. full of action toe to toe then mya grounds din. kulang lang ay KO. the rubber match between GSp and MH was superb. galing ni GSP with a triple submission tactics. from triangle arm shift sya sa kimura then finish with arm bar. verbal tapped out nalang si MH. MH should retire na. too old for GSP! the winnerhttp://i18.tinypic.com/81elisk.jpg badly beaten Silvahttp://i14.tinypic.com/6yam29t.jpg Some vid cap. The ice man put silva against the steel cage. http://i15.tinypic.com/8646cu1.jpg both silva and hughes got a dose of their own medicine. weather weather lang talaga ang buhay. Quote Link to comment
clubber_lang
Hopefully, the question would be who's next rather than what's next for Silva. Maybe a Silva-Ortiz match? Quote Link to comment
MODERATOR tamago Posted December 31, 2007 MODERATOR Share Posted December 31, 2007 Hopefully, the question would be who's next rather than what's next for Silva. Maybe a Silva-Ortiz match? They already faced each other before in the Octagon. That was years ago. Makes me wonder why they keep referring to his match as his debut match in the Octagon Silva got creamed by Ortiz Quote Link to comment
clubber_lang
Yep, that was for the vacant title... Now that they are both on a slide, maybe they should face each other once more... Quote Link to comment

What a freaking coward Tito was in that fight Tito got hit bad by Wandy and even ran for cover after that he just layed n prayed till the bout was over. he had the size advantage but I gotta agree a win is still a win but I cant help air my side when fighters win like that. The_Blade
can you believe it? chuck got the most money a hefty $500,000 others got as low as 80 grand.... malaki pa kita ni pacman... sayang wala na ang pride where they can earn more money... Quote Link to comment
rudepnoy4
did any of you guys noticed chuck was checking the clock on the last round, something i didnt see when hendo and rampage fought why? cause they want to f#&kin fight ,what chuck did on that dying second. secured a takedown thinking wand might go crazy . you can also hear from hackleman giving instructions after 2nd round circle punch thats right after wand tagged him , did you guys noticed how wand keep on chasing and cutting chuck like what shogun did to forest sobrang laki ng octagon and then when he gets back down in the fence chuck wont exchange he threw some punches then disengage and circled out as if hes got time limit for how long hes gonna stay toe to toe with silva i feel sad how he checks the time in the last round like some f#&kin agent smith checkin if neo is already dead .and yes im bitching about it the guys is my hero wandy wanted to fight, chuck fought with the mentality of not to get hit , and pls dont be a dumbass, and say you call it strategy if your runnin your mouth that you wanted to ko the guy so bad. pr0nmast3r
yeah Chuck was checking the clock Reason is he is gassing out already. When he threw the bomb (right before that clock checking thing), he wasn't able to KTFO Wandy. Naubos ata lahat ng hangin sa katawan. Naiwan ata sa tiyan Oh well, props to him.. He was counter punching effectively the whole time. What I noticed lang eh sobrang bias nila goldberg at rogan sa UFC fighters.. tulad nung sinabi na chuck was dictating the whole fight blah blah blah.. eh pero sa totoo lang e Wandy was the one stalking Chuck the whole time.. Just my opinion Quote Link to comment
MODERATOR tamago Posted January 1, 2008 MODERATOR Share Posted January 1, 2008 (edited) Yep, that was for the vacant title... Now that they are both on a slide, maybe they should face each other once more...Maybe. Ortiz can use that to promote his stint in Celebrity Apprentice got creamed? in my opinion it was lay n pray. What a freaking coward Tito was in that fight Tito got hit bad by Wandy and even ran for cover after that he just layed n prayed till the bout was over. he had the size advantage but I gotta agree a win is still a win but I cant help air my side when fighters win like that. Can't remember much of the details, but I think Ortiz clearly dominated that match. Kinda got bored watching it cuz Silva wasn't doing much Then again, that was years ago and/or maybe we're talking about a different match. At least Silva is better now. Unfortunaely, he got beaten by Chuck. Liddell's takedowns were definitely a surprise. Caught everyone off-guard. Yun nga lang, he ws losing gas fast, hence him checking the clock. Sana may round 2 sila  Edited January 1, 2008 by tamago Quote Link to comment
