berserker15 Posted November 20, 2007 Share Posted November 20, 2007 Dan Henderson To Fight Anderson Silva At UFC 82 After once stating that he wouldn’t drop down to 185 Henderson has agred to face Silva at that weight. As part of Dan Henderson’s contract extension he will fight at 185 once if he loses and have the option to move back up in weight. If he wins he will have to continue fighting at 185 as long as he owns the title belt. If there is any one man that has a real chance against Silva right now it is Henderson. It will take someone strong enough to get Silva to the ground and keep him there. Henderson doesn’t lose much power when he drops down in weight but he gains a noticeable speed increase when at 185. Larry Posted November 22, 2007 Share Posted November 22, 2007 Hendo will maul Anderson, especially now that Hendo will be fighting at 185, he's already stronger than most 205'ers, at 185 he'll be a beast. He just has to stick to a game plan and avoid trading with Anderson. That is going to be very interesting to see. That would make Forrest the second guy to be a contestant and a coach in TUF. no doubt the only thing that gets me is that I don't feel that Forrest deserves a shot at Rampage yet. One thing's for sure though, any fight that has forrest or rampage in it will be fun to watch. This fight will have them both. Quote Link to comment
