It's been a while since we've all been together in one room.

 

J1 - I hope you, your wife, and son are all well. I know na manyakis ka pa rin but I think you've managed to stay faithful, based on your claims. Nagkaroon ako ng respect sa mga Valedictorian graduates ng San Sebastian dahil sa iyo. :boo:

 

L - Congratulations on your new position at Jollibee. You're doing very well, my friend. I knew that you were technically brilliant and highly intelligent ever since I became part of your team that day in October 1987. You're nothing short of brilliant, man. I'm glad that part of my tax money went to fund your college education. Same with your brilliant wife. The two of you have been serving our dear country very well. My only regret is that you guys have miserably failed to contribute to the country's population control program. :boo: (1 request lang, Pards. Magtayo ka naman ng branch ng Jollibee dito sa may area ko. Ang sama ng mga Pinoy restaurants dito e.)

 

R1 - I'm still saddened by your decision to divorce C. What's the matter with you? You fell in with the wrong crowd, my friend. Things did not have to end that way. I hope you're working on picking up the pieces.

 

M - How have you been? I remember the day you introduced the gang to your Norwegian girlfriend. Sayang hindi kayo nagkatuluyan. Though you ended up marrying a pretty, Filipina, we were kinda rooting for the Norwegian. Sorry. Shades of colonial mentality and manyakism, I guess.

 

J2 - Kumusta na kayo ni LA? I used to see LA around my college campus and never realized that she would end up marrying you. I'm glad that you guys are doing well marriagewise and businesswise. :cool:

 

V - Pasensiya na at hindi ko puwede i-mention ang initials mo. Ang sama e! I remember your brilliant impersonation of local porn star Mark Joseph very well. Pero you made up for that with your intelligence and wisdom. You brought pride to our alma mater's Mechanical Engineering Department when you "inexplicably" topped the ME exams back then. Who the hell would have thought that of all people, you would achieve such feat!?!?! I know you've been doing well and will continue to do well. Keep up the good work, Pards! :cool: Am proud of you.

 

W - Boss, nakakalbo ka na dahil sa kamanyakan mo. Thanks for the tips you gave us as to where to park our cars whenever we would go to your favorite haunts. Ang galing mo talaga mag-kubli sa Misis mo! Kidding aside, you're still one of the best and most brilliant mentors I've ever had and I will never forget you for that. To this day, I still keep in mind all the things you taught all of us. The things I've achieved professionally were mainly due to the things that you and AA taught me.

 

T - Boss, thanks for the faith and confidence you gave to all of your staff. I vividly remember the day I first went out with you to a client engagement. I nearly fell of the chair when you told the client's VP that I was a Purchasing expert. :boo: If only the client knew then that I had just gotten my college diploma a few weeks earlier! I guess by digging through books and previous projects, I was able to present a credible front. Man, you certainly had your own way of effectively training people. It was a huge learning experience for me and I will forever be grateful. Sir, we hold you in the highest regard because of your intelligence, professionalism, and integrity. (Kahit na hindi mo makuha ang mga jokes namin more than half the time.)

 

R2 - I still can't forget the day when as soon as we stepped out of the Church in Makati, that you told me of this place that offered the best Wet T-Shirt Contest in Manila! :boo: :evil: Walanghiya ka! Kako-komunyon mo pa lang e kung anu-anong kademonyohan na ang nasa isip mo! Anyway, we did have a nice trip to that place! The irony is years later, you ended up marrying a girl who was so devout and who almost entered the convent! How did you pull that off? Good luck with your job and man, watch your spending, ok?

 

J3 - Comedian extraordinaire! Aside from Erap, you did your part in bastardizing the English language. Pero, bilib ako sa iyo with the way you've raised your family. You guys are doing very well and you've been making the right decisions for yourself and for them. I am very happy to be your close friend. Hopefully e magkita tayo uli later this year.

 

Given where I am, I really miss you guys. I miss the jokes and the laughter. On the geeky side, I miss our technical discussions. I learned a lot from you and I hope you guys learned from me as well. Though we came from different universities, we were like a fraternity and treated each other like brothers. We were solid.

 

May the Good Lord always shower His blessings on you and your families. 'Til we meet again.
