Duterte's Presidency : Expectations, Controversies, Rants, Etc.

you did not get the point ...ang sinasabi dito hindi naman masama ang train except di lahat dito eh “tama” at yun sana ang nai veto ng pangulo o di kaya itinama.

halimbawa, sabi nga natin kung ang purpose ng train is to generate more income through additional excise tax on vehicles in general then why decrease excise tax rate on luxury vehicles after increasing those on vehicles with lower value? dahil sa smuggling? kasi ang pagiisip nila madalas ang luxury vehicles ang ipinapasok sa illegal na paraan para makaiwas sa mataas na buwis so pag ibinaba baka mahikayat magbayad? wow! hindi ba yun dapat ang binigyan nila ng pansin kung paano masugpo ang smugling.

yun na lang income tax ... yun mga maliliit ang kinikita na swelduhan walang ligtas yan sa buwis kasi automatic na nawiwithold na buwis samantalang yun mga negosyante they do tax management or at wost evade taxes on whatever arising tax liabilities. even those higher ups in the corporate world, yun iba sa sinasahid nila are disguised in the form of allowance or representation para lang maging non taxable.

bottomline, tax is not bad as long as it will be put into good use and equitable. in this case the latter is in question ... as to some of the items in the train.

for example yun mga min wage workers na exempted na talaga sa pagbabayad ng income tax dati so walang epekto yun pagbaba ng income tax rate sa kanya under the train pero masasapul sa iba’t ibang additional taxation dahil dito. idagdag mo pa inflationary effect ng additional tax na yan sa goods and services. most likely mas pahirap ito sa kanya pero he will survive it dahil maghihigpit ng sinturon so my question is was it just and equitable to him?

pretext.

I know he's a good person and ruthless to non law abiding idiots. I know he's a good public servant, Davao can tell it all. in our society its easy to rant and f#&k a public servant, tsismaks and all. pero none in Davao. people there genuinely love him. his mouth is smoking hot. spicy and all. he doesn't give a f#&k about your opinion. he leads. period. whether you like it or not.

expectations.

I do expect our dear president to enforce the law strictly. I think that's what is missing. a law abiding society (rich or poor)

I expect discipline in all facet of government. I know you're firing a lot of people. I know that. can you please put principled people in those positions and not them ass kissers.

I expect better action from the government, so services can reach down to the helpless. especially the police and dswd.

I expect corrupt government people to be disciplined and be kicked out of office and jailed.

I expect drugs to die. pushers to users should go to jail. rot in jail or die in jail.

I expect that during your term, you will finish what you promised, what you started, what you are supposed to do.

I expect that during your term, you will endure the stupid people around you.

I expect that even the darkest of days, you will do what is necessary to keep this country rolling. to do what is right and just.

I expect that you will make all of us proud.

actually isang bagay na pumapabor sa mayayaman ay yun ibinabang tax sa luxury cars ... halimbawa yun land cruiser from 5m naging 4.65m na lang halos so mga 350k ang natipid.

is that what social equality is all about?

From January to September 2016, there were a total of 243,902 car registrations.

The number of luxury cars registered during the same period were 3,529 units.

3,529 vs. 243,902.

That's a measly 1.4% of total cars registered.

Sales tax reduction on luxury cars, if there's really any, does not make any significant change in the overall tax collection effort.

If we look at the big picture, TRAIN is OK.

so if sa 100m na pinoy eh 1% lang ang napatay dahil sa ejk o kung anu anong krimen diyan ...ok lang diba dahil 1% lang. kung sa kasamaang palad anak mo lang ang kaisaisang napatay dahil yan lang ang incidence ng death sa krimen naganap ok lang din di ba what is 1 out of thousands or even million cases. siguro madaling tanggapin ng maluwag ang pangyayaring ito ano?

but my question is, if the 99% need to pay higher taxes, whats so special about that 1% to be given a discount? hindi ba the right mindset should be the other way around tutal 1% lang naman ang higit na bubuwisan and these people can afford it actually then tax them more. sabi nga ni sen recto sa ngayon malaki ang incidence ng smuggling sa luxury cars. kaya yan 1% na data accurate ba yan tapos you will say it does not affect the overall tax collection effort...

yes lets look at the big picture...kaya nga nababanatan na anti poor ang train dahil sa mga nasisislip na ganito. walang nagsasabing masama ang paggagamitan ng buwis mula sa train. hindi rin masama ang magbuwis as long as it is just and equitable ....is it so?

And fishermen/drivers/farmers are the ones who puts food on our table or takes us to our places of work so that we can provide for our families. I guess were just a bunch of ingrates...

Btw... Dutertes insistence he doesnt want a term extension nor want a no-el scenerio: joke or no joke? Hirap i decipher eh kasi we just have to discern daw.

Oo nga, 'no.

I bet you wouldn't last a week without the service they provide you.
