Then let them file cases against Duterte. Between Binay and Duterte, Binay can't be trusted because he already has criminal cases. Duterte can admit all he wants but until he has cases, he is clean as a whistle.

not really... you dont need cases to say that duterte is guilty... he just admitted to the crime....

how can you trust someone who admits to being a criminal...... kriminal po ako kahit walang nagkakaso sa akin gawin mo pa rin ako presidente.

huwaw!!!

Your reasoning is rooted on feelings of desperation for a working justice system.

But instead of choosing a leader who can get our system back to the rule of law to make our justice system work, you are now rooting for somebody who would advocate machismo and flaunting of the law. Nice.

Duterte's campaign strategy is to play on your emotions. Make you feel like criminality is the root of all that is wrong in the Philippines and his no-nonsense summary exectution of suspected criminals is the way to go.

Sige lang, magpaloko ulit kayo. Dati, kay Abnoy with his corruption bogey, now it's Duterte and his "deteriorating" law and order bogey.

Only the gullible gets convinced by shallow politicians like Duterte who use machismo and bravado to mesmerize them. It's all talk. Unfortunately, just like in 2010 many today are just as gullible.

1. I never voted for Abnoy.

2. You may not agree with my choice, but it does not give you the license to insult me.

3. I'll go with Duterte since he delivers results, go to Davao City and compare it with Manila.

Your reasoning is rooted on feelings of desperation for a working justice system.

But instead of choosing a leader who can get our system back to the rule of law to make our justice system work, you are now rooting for somebody who would advocate machismo and flaunting of the law. Nice. - Pwed mo explain, be specific, how? wag mo e generalize.

Duterte's campaign strategy is to play on your emotions. Make you feel like criminality is the root of all that is wrong in the Philippines and his no-nonsense summary exectution of suspected criminals is the way to go. - I think all politicians strategy is for you to be emotional... sa tingin ko problema natin ay hindi na-iimplement ang batas kaya madami corrupt at criminal..

Unfortunately, just like in 2010 many today are just as gullible.

4) No to Contractualization

Go Duterte

Sorry for being a dumbass,, Class D lang kasi ako, ikaw class A or B ka malamang.

Duterte is undermining himself again for votes : He was molested by a priest in his gradeschool days at the ateneo de davao.

oh Cry me a river! spare us the details! Would i actually vote for this guy who supports federalism? otherwise known as socialism? A communist socialist?

I have to ask the dumbasses who will vote for him because of his 'transparency' and i want to ask this, if naked brutality is transparency?

Illogical kasi sinabi mo? You don't even have a choice for president, yet, you criticize others' choices, which makes you have the weaker mind. Your posts have denigrated to pathetic level.

Regarding the Roxas-Duterte comic relief, nagpapatawa yung dalawa.

It does not hurt to have a dose of election-related comedy. You should pay more attention to your candidate who has a plethora of cases against him instead of worrying too much about the "bakya" side of politics.

Cases can be easily filed. Give me your name and address and i can file a plethora of cases against you tomorrow. Wil that make you guilty?

Election related comedy? Kaya hindi tayo sineseryoso ng ibang bansa.

Bakya side of politics? If you want bakya stuff, watch a noontime show.

Napaka BS naman ng reasoning na yan. Kung hindi seseryosohin ang electoral process, how can we elect a serious leader?

I will believe only if he is proven guilty in a court of law. Pano ba yan? Wala pa siyang kaso?

so you are wrong in calling binay corrupt because, as you said, he is not yet PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.

boom!!!!!

There seems to be a lot of confusion here. The way I understand it Mar Roxas finished BS Economics in Wharton School under University Pennsylvania. Wharton already confirmed this. Duterte assumed that Mar took up MBA so when he did not find Mar's name, he assumed that Mar did not graduate from Wharton. So tama nga Mar graduated from Wharton earning a Bachelor's degree but he has no MBA.

IMHO Binay has the best academic resume since his education cover public administration, law, and national security.

that is what i noticed as well.

If it's that simple to file a case against people, why not file a case against Duterte? Sabi mo madali naman diba?

had duterte declared his intention to run earlier, tambak na rin sya ng kaso ngayon....

hintayin mo, the CHR is investigating already.... cases may follow.

But if you really come down to it, these two are more trustworthy than your candidate since they don't have criminal cases.

as you said, you will only believe if FOUND GUILTY in a court of law.... tell me if there is any court of law that binay is convicted...

That is your opinion but as they say "laughter is the best medicine" and those two absolutely made me laugh.

if you say laughter is the best medicine for the presidency, then we should conider tito sotto for president, right?

Ok this is i think what you've been waiting for, to change the label/name of this thread. Any suggestion? (of course other than the "Fight Club thread - PEACE" as previously labeled).

i dont know if the rules have changed... during the early days of MTC... passionate arguments is not considered a "fight"

it only becomes a fight if

a. it the discussion is very much OT

b. insults and name-callings are involved.

no fight with mason here... i find our debate amusing and his arguments make me laugh.... and as he said, laughter is the best medicine....

Huh? I was talking about Duterte and not about Binay. Another strawman argument. Stick to the post and don't stray away from the post you're quoting.

who cares what kind of argument it is... just answer the question.

so you are saying, for duterte, he has to be convicted by a court of law for you to say he is guilty,

but for binay, filing of cases is enough for you to say he is guilty?

bakit ako magfi-file? duterte is self-destructing anyway....

Read again the context of my post. I was emphasizing trustworthiness since they don't have criminal cases. Another strawman argument from you.

I never said nor implied anything about the phrase in bold.

Really? The last time I checked, your retorts are strawman arguments.

someone must have googled "strawman arguments" and now is indiscriminately using it as a red herring... stay to the topic....

you said laughter is the best medicine when defending duterte's antics on mar roxas.... both duterte and mar are running for presidency...

when pointed out that you think that your position is that laughter is the best medicine for the presidency, sabay atras. hahaha

How did you know I googled the term "strawman argument"? You have been veering away from the post you are quoting, hence, I said that you are using strawman arguments. Using it indiscriminately? Hahaha! So stating that you're using strawman arguments is tantamount to using it indiscriminately according to you. Hilarious.

Read and understand my post before quoting my post. How did I back out when all I did was state that you are retorting with strawman arguments?

read and understand my post before quoting my post

i said someone MUST HAVE GOOGLED.

Never said you did.

enough of you and your "strawman arguments" as the red herring.... we are not going anywhere.... i have to find someone more intelligent to discuss with.

end of discussion with you.

(dear mod: now this is an example of a FIGHT, which is different from heated discussion, i intentionally used Mason as the unwilling example.)

1,800 is only a small sample size albeit representing the exact percentage of voters per region and this was done amidst the comic relief of a word war between Duterte Harry and ObMar and the Grace Poe disqualification case.

I sympathize with the Poetards, Martards, Dutertards. Mahirap talaga matanggap para sa kanila na leading ulit si Binay, and Front Page news pa sya in all major dailies, Top Story sa Radio-TV news and magiging hot topic sa social media ang lead nya sa polls in the next two weeks.

Defensive mo naman. You didn't see me react when you lambasted the Duterte faithful by calling them "mababaw". Apparently, you can dish it but you can't take it.

Wala kang pangsagot doon. Kahit ikaw nga sinasabi mo pang comic relief lang yung mga simplistic antics nila.

Please point out which of the statement in my post was defensive.

Actually, it is offensive, to goad you into making more inane posts.

Binaytard, this was your retort. You said I was whining when I was stating a fact. So according to you, stating a fact and whining are synonymous. Furthermore, you post an ad hominem by saying that the Duterte faithful can't accept that Binay is leading. How sure are you that I can't accept it when I was stating a fact? The next time you argue with me, base it on facts and not be defensive and get butthurt and react with ad hominems.

So wala din.

And I've just proven to everybody in this forum that I can goad you into making more inane posts. Di mo kasi mapigil ang ego mo.

So predictable.

Awesome thread material lang ito.
