Ryuji_tanaka
I just saw this now and this made me laugh. I don't wanna castigate Roxas anymore because it's like beating on a dead horse pero natawa ako dito. Updated due to popular demand: Bugbugin sina Noynoy Aquino at Mar Roxas!https://www.facebook.com/events/830287237117451/?ref=22&feed_story_type=22&action_history=null Quote Link to comment
Ryuji_tanaka
I see this: Why Everyone Must Get Ready For The 4th Industrial Revolutionhttp://www.forbes.com/sites/bernardmarr/2016/04/05/why-everyone-must-get-ready-for-4th-industrial-revolution/#e9343b279c98 and I think, ganun na ba talaga ang Pinas, 4th industrial Revolution na, tapos wala pa tayo sa 1st.... rooster69ph
But you are forgetting something, it got worse under the other plundering family, the Cojuanco-Aquino:http://getrealphilippines.com/blog/2016/02/the-philippines-is-worse-off-30-years-after-the-1986-edsa-people-power-revolution/ and that is not even including the retard in the palace. Whether it got worse or not is not the issue here ... the main issue is yun "pagsisinungaling" ni BoBong Marcos. In all reality, the Philippines regress under the rule of his dad and we're definitely not close to Singapore not becoming one when he left. Quote Link to comment
punkee
Substantial amount of foreign debt is correct. But without foreign investment and revenue to support the debt, guess who ends up paying for that debt? Definitely, not the Marcoses. They're busy stashing the money elsewhere. Quote Link to comment
punkee
How can we get anywhere, kahit sa 1st anything, when people still love the corrupt? When people demand immediate change on everything, which just isnt possible? When people find it boring that business is doing well and would prioritize a leader with a wild sense of humor? Kingkongphils
BennyChang
Bongbong Marcos and his family has amassed more illgotten wealth than all politicians combined in Philippine History. Her mother Imelda Marcos lived a lavish lifestyle while Filipinos lived in hunger and poverty during their 20 years in power. Quote Link to comment
BennyChang
Mods, I just have a question. Does this post have anything to do with the debate? I think this is more appropriate in the Apo Marcos: facts and myths thread. Bongbong Marcos is a Vice Presidential candidate. Corruption was a topic during the debate and several times he deny any allegation of corruption despite all the evidences and proofs. Dont worry, i heard Leni Robredo would take good care of senior senior citizens like you when she wins, kaya relax ka lang. Quote Link to comment
punkee
What I know is FRM was not even mentioned in the Panama Papers. The hate must be really visceral. Actually, you may be right. He may not be in the Panama papers. I read conflicting reports. The hate on stealing and corruption is real though. Quote Link to comment
filibustero
Alright, can we please stop using the argument that conviction by a court or being in jail is the only acceptable proof that somebody did something. I think we can all agree not everyone who got convicted by a court and sent to jail is guilty of actually committing the crime he/she is accused of, and not everyone who actually committed a crime got convicted by a court or was sent to jail. Just because it hasn't been proven in court, doesn't mean you didn't do it. We know there are so many criminals in this country that walk around as free men. So please, stop. And for the BBM haters out there, please try to come up with stuff that the guy actually did and not stuff that the father did. I mean, nobody is asking Nancy Binay in the Senate to answer for the corruption charges hurled against her father; nobody is asking PNoy to take the fall for the shortcomings of Cory's administration; nobody is accusing JV or Jinggoy that they were in on the plunder of Erap (well, apparently they're plunderers in their own right anyway). It cuts both ways, the sons and daughters can not take credit for the accomplishments of their parents. PNoy cannot say he is an icon of democracy like his parents, and neither can GMA take credit for whatever Diosdado Macapagal during his Presidency. As for Erap, not really sure what he did that JV or Jinggoy would want to take credit for (the creation of the Carabao Center perhaps?). As for the VP frontrunners, strip away their names, their lineage, and their affiliations and look at them as individuals standing on their own right and merit. Even those blinded by hate will see who is most capable of serving as VP of this country. 1 Quote Link to comment
filibustero
It seems to me that our next president will be the fiery mayor from the Sweet South and our next vice president will be the tranquil senator from the Solid North. Yin and Yang at its finest. Digong and Bongbong. Hey, even their nicknames rhyme. BoTete in 2016? Really not a Digong fan. He's dead last on my Presidentiables list. Quote Link to comment
FleurDeLune
Mang Benny, you're 47 and I expected more from an old fart like you. I expected you to post erudite statements. However, what I see is the opposite. Puro kabobohan pinagpopost mo, Mang Benny. Enough already on that poster, MS. Quote Link to comment
filibustero
I would take it you are referring to BBM since he is the only one among the six with both legislative and executive experience. Correct me if I am wrong. I think that one is pretty clear. Quote Link to comment
