Bro, w/regards sa New Dynamix eh hindi ako sure na ok yan pero for price value eh ok naman siguro kasi may mga key apperances jan. I agree w/revi na kunin mo na lang yung Detective kesa sa Batman kasi nga parang intro na din yung pagdating dun sa RIP arc. Hindi ko pa binasa yung Superpowers # 1 kasi mukhang mabibitin ako pero hindi naman siguro parang versus 'to. Abangan ulit kita sa Chikaminute sa signing. Ihalik mo din ako sa mga cover girls! Hahaha! Tagal ng Playboy! haha i make sure na hindi na ako lalabas sa TV, tumatalikod na ako pag may cam daming ok na arc ngayon, I like yung Divided We Stand, GL, Twelve at Superpowers haay tapos malapit na rin yung SI meaning dagdag gastos kaya need na mag save :cool: Quote Link to comment

Of course w/the exceptions of The Big Two's summer events eh mukhang ok na ako sa budget. Morisson won't k*ll Bats but I read somewhere that he'll get crucified. Dunno kung physically or what. Magbabasa na lang ako sa Wizard ng update dito kasi hindi ko ito kukunin dahil nga sa budget. Masakit nga sa bulsa, bro.. But sometimes you can't help but speculate nowadays.. Sobrang gaganda ng mga reviews ng mga comics ngayon (as compared to the lame issues I collected in the late 90's).. And I do agree with most of them.. Tingnan mo yung Cable #1 at yung susunod na arc sa Green Lantern.. Mukhang they are important events that we should not leave out.. I was seriously thinking of stopping my GL run, but I am having second thoughts.. The next arc (daw), will be a very important aspect in the "Blackest Night" storyline next year.. But much like your take on Morrison's Batman, I really might just stop GL muna.. Maybe after the next storyline, i-continue ko.. Sobra kasing ganda ng reviews nitong book na ito.. Batman and GL are currently the top books of DC.. With regards to the new Cable comicbook, I am still divided.. Reading reviews about this, it seems that it is one of the impt. I am currently getting Uncanny, Legacy, Wolvie, XForce, and I most probably would be getting the Young XMen.. If I include Cable, that would be 6 X-Titles (Arrhhhh!) .. Logan #1 had great reviews, but I will not get this.. Wala na sa budget ko para ituloy itong series na ito.. I feel that as great as Vaughn's story is, the Logan series ain't really important.. Bro, hwag mo lahat kunin tie-ins ng Secret Invasion.. Hindi sila lahat necessary.. When Civil War came out, sobrang daming tie-ins din yan.. And I only got a few namely New Avengers, Amazing Spidey &, Fantastic Four (which was a bore.. hehe!).. I was lucky that the issues on Amazing Spiderman became HOT.. IMO, I would only get the core tie-ins for SI, namely Mighty Avengers and New Avengers.. I won't be getting She Hulk, Ms. Marvel and Capt. Britain.. The Divided We Stand issues are all tied-up but are not all necessary to get.. Kung hindi lang first storyarcs ang nasa XForce at Young Xmen, di ko na ito kukunin.. I feel that the core Xtitles here would be Uncanny, XMen: Legacy and Cable.. I am only getting Wolvie because of Aaron (writer) and I won't be getting X-Factor.. I was thinking of getting the Wildstorm/DC cross-over (forgot the name of the event) but I guess sa sobrang dami na ng mga titles ko, hindi ko muna ito kukunin.. Sasabay kasi ito sa Final Crisis ng DC eh.. $3.99 pa naman yata ang Final Crisis.. Haay! Ano-ano na naman kaya ang mga titles na darating next week.. haha!!! Quote Link to comment

I looked at some internet sites, and I saw that I only have 5 comics na parating, namely: 1) Fantastic Four #555 - Hmmm... Ang bilis naman yata ng dating nito.. 2) Simon Dark #53) Countdown #7 4) Evil Dead #3 - I can't wait to see another masterpiece from artist, John Bolton.. 5) Spooks #2 I will not be getting the new Last Defenders comic series.. Masyado ng madaming mga bagong teams sa Marvel Universe.. Nagiging wala ng kwenta ang mga storylines ng mga ganito tuloy.. Quote Link to comment

Kung tie-ins lang wag niyo lahat kunin.. Just get the tie-ins na feeling niyo na medyo may major na mangyayari.. The DWS saga ain't really a saga.. Its really just a "branded name" on the Messiah Complex's aftermath.. You really do not need to get all the tie-ins.. I won't be getting X-Factor.. At sinabi ko nga, hindi ko dapat kukunin yung mga Cable, Xforce, Young Xmen na yan kundi lang first issue and with Cable, mukhang kasama siya sa mga X-series na medyo "major" stuff ang mangyayari.. And the only reason why I am keeping in touch with XMen: Legacy and Uncanny is because Uncanny is reaching its 500'th issue and I expect good things on that issue.. I want to get the whole storyline.. With regards to Wolverine, I am only getting this because of its writer, Jason Aaron.. Kasi ang style ng mga comicbook companies ay pasasakayin ka niyan.. Gawa sila tie-ins or cross-overs para hindi mo mabitawan yung comic.. But sa totoo lang you have to pull the plug on some of the titles dahil hindi na minsan necessary sa continuity.. For example, in the Civil War story arc, when Sue Storm decided to do an LOA sa Fantastic Four after the events in Civil War, I decided to cut my FF subscription.. Kasi nakikita ko na hindi nman necessary yung mga susunod na issues.. Nothing major transpired kundi lang yung away ni Sue Storm at Reed Richards.. In all honesty, nagkamali ako sa pag-pick-up ng FF-tie-in-series nung Civil war dahil wala talagang important events dito.. I should have gotten She Hulk instead.... Akala ko kasi sa issue ng FF babalik si Thor eh.. As I have said, I only took the Amazing Spider Man and New Avengers series as my tie-in titles for Civil War.. I decided discontinue my Spiderman allocation after One More Day.. Coz I felt na pangit ang susunod na storylines after One More Day.. And as of now, hindi ako nagsisisi sa desisyon ko dahil (up to now) I know that Marvel will retcon the OMD arc.. I decided to stop my JSA allocation after the Lightning Saga.. Dahil hindi na necessary ang mga sumunod na arcs.. DWS is different from Secret Invasion.. May major na nangyari sa XMen dahil sa Messiah Complex at malapit na ang Uncanny #500.. Kaya ko lang pinagtyatyagaan ang mga Xtitles na kinukuha ko ay dahil diyan sa 2 factor na yan.. But after the first storyarcs, I am really thinking of stopping my allocation on most of my X-titles.. Baka matira na lang dito yung 2 major X-title.. So, bro, kung ako sa iyo, wag mo lahat kunin tie-ins sa Secret Invasion.. I am telling you, its not necessary.. Kumuha ka lang nung feeling na importante sa storyarc.. I would definitely not get Captain Britain, Thunderbolts or even New Warriors.. Sa July lang there are 13 tie-ins for SI.. And this is an 8 issue series.. Kaya 8 months lalabas lahat ng tie-ins.. Sa May, lima, Sa June, siyam.. Definitely, hindi ko lahat kukunin mga tie-ins ng SI.. Unang-una, magastos, at pangalawa, hindi kailangan.. Marvel pa.. Ganyan ang Marvel talaga para makabenta ng madaming issues.. hehehe.. As I have said, New Avengers at Mighty Avengers ang sigurado na kukunin ko.. Iniisip ko pa ang Secret Invasion: Fantastic Four at yung ibang mga one-shots.. Ganyan talaga mga comicbook companies.. To boost sales of other comic series, they would do tie-ins or crossovers.. Yung cross-over, garantisado yan na kailangan sa continuity.. But tie-ins? Nope.. Tandaan mo bro, lalabas na din during this time (around June or May) ang Final Crisis ng DC.. At hindi mo ito dapat palampasin.. Grant Morrison ito eh.. If I had to choose between SI and Final Crisis, I would choose Final Crisis dahil lamang sa writer.. But syempre, I am sure to get SI, but not all the tie-ins.. Kahit naman sa Final Crisis, di ko din lahat kunin tie-ins niyan kung meron man.. OT.... @reachard: You're lucky with your GF, bro.. My wife would never understand my hobbies (except for Badminton).. She would never understand my basketball card memorabilia/collection and my love for comicbooks, toys and the like.. hehehe.. Green Lantern is the BEST DC continuing series so far...........ACTION COMICS might not be far behind ( Brainiac saga )......... JLA - kinda boring while JSA story takes toooooooooooooo lonnnnnnnnnnng....... swerte naman nyo talaga dami comics collect nyo......ako pinagsasabihan ako na to stop ..... tulad dati collect ng mga SOC....now dyan lan sa tabi tabi nilalaro lang ng mga bata...... i still remember my mom threw my NEW TEEN TITANS # 1( 1980 ) sa trash when i was a kid....di ko na mahanap........... Di ko ineexpect na makuha niya lahat pero pwede din kasi siyang maging Red Lantern eh. Hindi din naman ako mahilig sa mga tie-ins at hopefully eh last na yung sa DWS kasi napakagastos, pero next year eh sisiguraduhin kong may tie-ins ako ng summer events. Alam ko na hindi siya necessary reading pero andun kasi yung completist instinct eh. Hehehe. :evil: Actually sa Sinesro Corps, Messiah Complex at ngayon eh sa Divided We Stand lang ako nagtie-ins at ang bulsa ko na din ang nagsasabi na main titles lang ang kukunin ko sa Secret Invasion at Final Crisis. Pero ang hirap talagang labanan eh. Bwiset! Kunin mo na lang sa back issues yang crossover ng DC at Wildstorm pero ikaw pa na mahilig sa inter-company crossovers at other women. Hahaha! Paniguradong may tataas na value sa mga tie-ins in the future.. I just hope that the tie-ins that I would get will have a major impact on the storyline & will eventually go up in value.. BTW, its funny that the Amazing Spiderman ain't included as a tie-in, leche kasi ang OMD eh! He should be a main figure once again in this storyline, if not for this stupid storline.. Haven't you noticed na wala din ang Iron Man sa tie-ins.. Well, its because a new Iron Man series will be launched to coincide with the movie.. I might get this series' first storyline/arc.. As well as the first Titans arc.. @mazinger: Since Meltzer left JLA, it has been a bore.. I also expect the same delays (like with JSA) with Marvel's Invaders/New Avengers because of Alex Ross.. hehehe.. Everything that has Alex Ross in it has always been delayed.. hahaha... With regards to Thor, this series has had warm reviews since issue #1.. I have all the issues of the series, and it seems that more good reviews would be forthcoming for the Thunder God's comicbook.. I'm thinking narin itigil yung pagkuha ko ng next issue nito. But I'll continue getting Wolvie, X-Force and all X-Men titles just like you said bro malapit na yung issue #500. with SI I'll follow your suggestion to get yung may Major events na titles na for sure nga yung Avengers titles, same with Final Crisis Plan din ng gf ko mag dagdag ng titles this week, baka pasa ko na lang sa kanya yung GL @ khumpleetist uu nga kaw ang mamahagi ng chicks samin dito haha! Actually, alam ko na halos lahat tayo eh gustong makolekta lahat w/regards to comic collecting kaya yun na din yung dahilan kaya ganyan nick ko saka. I hope pag labas ng SI eh makayanan ko na yung main title lang kunin ko. Tama ka na dapat andito si Spider-Man pero dahil nga dyan sa OMD na yan eh mukhang play safe ang Marvel. And it's even weirder when Iron Man's title and his upcoming new series isn't tied up but I guess we'll have to wait. I haven't seen any art from Titans but I read it's a promising one.
