jepoyskieLOVEbianca
The lakers already know that they will advance to the playoffs even before their game started. They could have opted to rest their starters. But it seems they really wanted to face the spurs rather than the younger and faster okc. hehehe, who would want to face the OKC in the first round? iggy112
They match up better with the Spurs than OKC, besides, the Spurs are not in rhythm right now due to injuries etc. So, how far do you think LA will go in the playoffs? 1st round? 2nd round? Quote Link to comment

Yep better matchup lal vs sas... Than lal vs okc. But san antonio is better coached. Quote Link to comment
jepoyskieLOVEbianca
i think LA could reach second round... as they can match up with SAS head to head... Quote Link to comment
friendly0603
IMHO,Lakers with Kobe is a stronger and more talented team, but...Lakers without Kobe is a much better team! pero ang point is, mas magiging betterna team ang Lakers kung walang Kobe sa line-up...exactly my point bossing kaya ko sinabing better "TEAM" ang lakers pag wala si Kobe, kasi mas nabibigyan ng chance yung ibang player, mas nakakapag-contribute yung karamihan ng players, kaya better "TEAM". pero hindi stronger, kasi iba pa dinang naibibigay ng isang Kobe... pero speaking of being a TEAM per se, better pag wala sya...I fail to see the difference between better vs stronger. What's the bottom line? To win or see everybody contribute? From a team standpoint, winning is the goal. Individually your stats or resulting team play would be the goal. What if even with better or good team play they still lose? I don't think Laker fans want to enter the playoffs without Kobe. Just like no laker fan wanted MikeD over Phil Jax. This team needs all it's pieces to win a championship. During the season, no one stepped up individually or the team didn't step up to win with all the injuries. But that's my view. Guest demon nick fury
Without Kobe Bryant, the distribution of the ball among the Lakers players becomes more efficient and the defense would no longer be focused on one person. so the higher tendency of winning. Quote Link to comment
friendly0603
any proof of that? Quote Link to comment
Mango Man
tama, bwakaw si kobe sobra. Quote Link to comment
alberto_
exemption lang siguro sa denver yung pangyayari na kung kelan nawala yung superstar sa team eh saka naman nag improved yung performance ng team. Quote Link to comment

Look at the bulls and the celtics, I'm sure they prefer to have Rondo and Rose back. But with the Pacers, the disappearance of Granger led to the rise of George. But Granger would still be preferred to be in the lineup even with limited contribution. Helps George get more open looks than trying to create everything himself. Quote Link to comment
djrs
-25 without kobe? but better D and unpredictable play without kobe... i watch the GSW, Spurs and the last match with houston... i rather see kobe catch and shoot than create his own shot or ISO..... he must realize that at the time of shaq shaq is the first option... also with pau gasol..... (triangle offense) but now he is the first option... he always want the ball... dwight and pau only shoot around 9 to 12 shot a game... way below..... Quote Link to comment
friendly0603
KB has been option 1 since post-Shaq era. Dwight and Pau have been injured majority of the season. And Pau has been so unhappy with his role in Mike D's offense (bench/starter player).
