If Clarkson joins Gilas in the future, this would be a coup for SBP. The guy is an All-NBA Rookie First Teamer. He would surely terrorize other Asian guards as he is a defensive menace aside from showing the ability to score. He was used as point guard in his rookie season with the Lakers. A back court of Clarkson and Norwood plus a frontline of Blatche, Gregzilla and the Kraken would make any Asian team hard-pressed to score against them.

 

plus 3-point shooters to open up the lane...maybe in the mold of lassiter or the "triggerman".

If this will push through , Blatch can play as PF again as he was most effective as, back in Brooklyn. Rosario should try playing as SF. Prob lang din sa line up, walang dedicated play maker.

Well yeah but in the lineup I mentioned, Blatche and Clarkson can be the long-range bombers which would open the post for the two "mythical beasts".

 

how about adding rayray and kiefer to the mix? gilas can definitely form a dream team if only all concerned will cooperate. clarkson, blatche, junemar, rayray, troy, gabe, castro, abueva, romeo and greg (if eligibility issues can be ironed out).
