dfgvan
According to the latest FIBA rankings---> CHINESE TAIPEi is 41st while PHILIPPINES is 53rd. the reason behind this is that Chinese Taipei is much more active in FIBA events than us...yung rankings kasi overall yan... womens, mens and U16 Quote Link to comment

khilua23
Any updates sa Game so far? Lamang ba Gilas? changed schedules po.. 6pm ang laban ng GILAS against CHINESE TAIPEI. 1st game IRAN vs. JORDAN.. JORDAN makes an upset over IRAN 88 - 84. so, if ever, GILAS wins against their opponent... GILAS vs. JORDAN in the SEMIS! Edited September 23, 2011 by khilua23 Quote Link to comment
khilua23
jimmy alapag is the heart and soul of smart gilas. the other pba players look more amateurish than amateur players of smart giles. especially williams and taulava. walang reliever si douthit na reliable. alapag should take more three's. he's the only reliable shooter there. deocampo so far is a disappointment. nevertheless, great job. sir, in a not so serious manner (joke only)... here is one characteristic of DE OCAMPO na malaking bagay sa team.. "As among the seniors in the team, De Ocampo also watches his teammates back. Apparently in retaliation to Takuya Kawamura’s hard foul sending Jayvee Casio sprawling to the floor, De Ocampo, moments later, hit the Japanese hotshot with an elbow to the face in their game Tuesday. Kawamura couldn’t get his game going, scoring only 12." http://teampilipinas.info/2011/09/ranidel-makes-most-of-stint-in-fiba.html Quote Link to comment

dfgvan
please remember sa jones cup tinalo tayo ng jordan...also sa jones cup tinalo natin sa elims ang iran only for them to get back on us sa semis... Quote Link to comment
buwitre1781
kotrapelo kasi ng iran ang jordan. another good match korea vs japan. pwde ring makaupset ang japan sa korea dahil halso same brand of plays lang sila much bigger nga lng ang korea. pwede din kayang ma-upset ang china? sana i love to see phil vs japan in the finals. its not that we can't beat China. We can beat them if we are just consistent in our oustide shots because we have given them headaches with our interior defense. Kaya lang mas masarap lang talagang panuorin ang phils vs japan dahil evenly matched. Quote Link to comment
junix
chief, in the jones cup alapag, ranidel and kelly were not with the team...so i believe this is a much stronger gilas team we have right now. Quote Link to comment
