Edmund Dantes
More terror attacks by the ISIS this time in Indonesia. More than bombs and bullets, I hope there are enough good people out there who will stand up against hate and bigotry against Muslims. They too in these attacks become the very victims of Islamic Radicals. When we begin to spew hate, we do what exactly the terrorists wants us to Quote Link to comment
gwapingsz1
Good luck to the US if Donald Trump wins. Neo Nazi America will begin. Remember the muslim lady that was ejected during political rally of Trump? Why did the lady stood in the middle of the rally? Trump motivated her to do it, why? He is promoting hate, banning Syrian refugees from entering the US is a display of bigotry. She wanted to show everyone that not all muslims are radicals. More will come out to challenge Trump's so called "solution". The lady is just a start and sooner or later the radicals. That shows the racist he and his followers are. It shows how hate/racism fuels the people to be evil. Quote Link to comment
Ryuji_tanaka
Another Taxi Driver was charged for frustrated homicide after he pulled out a Katana (wild and intense) on his customer. The passenger had few cuts and bruise because he fought back (bunutan ka ba naman ng samurai eh). On a serious note, this is very alarming. These cases are getting wilder and wilder. Starting out with just yelling then a fist fight now it had intensify into a sword fight. What will be next? a gun duel? These kinds of driver should be banned from professional driving. There should also be a deterrence that will have a big impact on the professional driving community. FleurDeLune
Which part? The one about it fixing our problems or the part about it not happening here? Relatively speaking, our judicial system (not to mention the entire government system that we have) is nothing but rotten to the core. So there. That makes me agree with your entire post. To other news:Sumisingaw na yung ebs na ibinaon ng Abnoy Administration! http://www.rappler.com/nation/118802-coa-light-rail-transit-authority-mismanagement Wala daw budget for loans and pensions, pero ang sweldo: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10154101332114311&set=a.10150541301984311.402801.641384310&type=3&theater Eto ang Daang Matuwid! Itutuloy niyo pa ba to?On the LRTA article, COA audit period was 2007-2011. Meaning much of the unauthorized allowances was given during GMA's time. In 2011, PNoy signed Executive Orders and a GOCC Governance law precisely to stop unauthorized allowances in all GOCCs. As for SSS, it's a pension fund amounting to billions of pesos. Check how much an executive in a private company that manages funds of a similar size earns, and you just might be surprised. That 5M might just only be their income tax. But for government executives, we expect them to do similar work at the lowest pay imaginable - preferably for free even. Then people ask why don't the best and the brightest work in government. As Joker said, "if you're good at something, never do it for free." Quote Link to comment
filibustero
Php2,000 pesos increase monthly SSS pension turned down by Pnoy. How will this affect presidential aspirant Mar Roxas? Negative points for Mar definitely. So easy to demonize the administration for shooting down the increase, and with it Mar. But hey, Mar is already dead last in most of the surveys conducted anyway so it's not like it would affect his ranking. Quote Link to comment

This is from the COA 2014 report on salaries and allowances." Granted 38% in 2014, but compared to what in previous years? Data from GCG website suggests 28% in 2011, so it went up 10% in 3 years. How much in peso amount is the 10%? That's from P85 billion in 2011 to P120B in 2014 - an increase of P35 Billion. Easy to say 38% is low, but anybody asking for a huge jump immediately is asking a lot. Improvement takes time and happens gradually. Also, pension funds like SSS sustains its business by investing those contributions collected in diverse portfolios. It takes skilled investment bankers to do that especially in volatile markets, the kind of skill highly valued in the private sector. And honestly, that kind of skill is needed when we talk of 31 million SSS members. Quote Link to comment
Edmund Dantes
Close door meeting lang dapat among family members. At least wala ibang maeeskandalo Quote Link to comment

How does she react to this? At ganun din ikaw sa kanya? OT: Tried to call the number pero "can't be reached" daw. Will try again. Quote Link to comment

How does she react to this? At ganun din ikaw sa kanya? OT: Tried to call the number pero "can't be reached" daw. Will try again. Most of the time iiwasan nya yung topic na yun. Pag naguusap usap kami dito at me magstart nyan, tumutulong na ako para ibahin usapan. She is not like typical INC member though na hangang sa huling hininga ipaglalaban organisasyon nila tama o mali. On several occasions she did criticize yung sobrang pagiging panatiko ng marami sa organisasyon nila. I can tell she loves her religion, but she is intelligent enough to understand na hindi naman lahat ng ginagawa sa kanila ay tama. But understandably I wont expect her to go against her own religion. Not only does it demonize him more and more, it also reflects failure in his leadership. Di nga maayos sariling pamilya eh. OT: Hmmmm sige papatanong ko ulit number Quote Link to comment
