When are you going to have this EB again, what the idea of a bar you wanted to go for, or any bar that you frequently visiting? Quote Link to comment
Macy
We like making the rounds of the bars. Depends on how big or small the EB is supposed to be. We have an organizing committee that does the legwork and negotiations. As for drinking alone, I have been to Anthology a few times (I started alone but my friends ultimately show up). I like the music and the crowd. I don't feel comfortable sitting on the bar stools though. Food is alright. The comfort rooms are upstairs though. A bit of a hustle going up and down each time Quote Link to comment

Macy
I discovered a cool place in Starmall (Shaw Blvd. corner EDSA) called CUBA LIBRE. They have an R&B band that plays 3 sets from 9pm to 2am. It's frequented by big groups of employees after office so it's safe to assume that they find it great to hang out there too. Beer prices - SML for 35 / Strong Ice 40 / Red Horse 40 or you can get a bucket for 160 (6 beers). I love drinking Coors Light there while I watch the people come in. They have beer in kegs too and this tall Jaigermeister tube (I don't know what they call it). Looks like the ones you guys have in frat parties .... so they tell me. Quote Link to comment
sk3rmo
there used to be a bar near Mile Long called Bunchums. Used to frequent this place a loooooooong loooooong time ago.I don't know if Japanese yung owner before coz they had those japanese magazines. Quote Link to comment
sleep_heavy
I just verified a few days back. Cuba Libre over at star mall is indeed very cosy. Very relaxing ambiance.Drinks are okay but I enjoyed a lot of the food ni Libre ako ng mga Clients ko on Contract Signing... Quote Link to comment
Macy
I was CUBA LIBRE last night and although i really love their Mojos with dressing (I think it has mayo and cream and garlic) which costs P140.00 i wanted to try other stuff. Good decision coz i loved their flavored rice that is more like a meal-in-one (P73.00) which is good for two people. they have calamares special (P174.00) which is cooked just right. Their tokwa't baboy (P135.00) has a generous serving too. :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment

If I want to drink this is a good cozy place and the people are friendly.. specially the cashier when I sit at the bar most of the time.. There is another place if you guys like to get a full view of Manila.. its toyz bar on the top of Lancaster Suites at Shaw you wont miss it. It's on the left side if you are coming from Starmall heading east to Manila. Toyz has models night every Thursday when the models of Toyz magazine would be there to hang out. Quote Link to comment

Kennat
i've tried watering hole in shangrila, alone. its cozy inside (high chairs) although they charge entrance because they have new and upcoming different bands playing every night. they have sports tv in between band sets. Quote Link to comment
