i bought this cutie na kanina, in blue ;) haven't tried browsing the net yet using this. i noticed yung isang port (or whatever you call it) for telephone line nakasara or nakatakip but i was able to remove it. i'll try sana dial up connection pero i cannot connect since it says na parang i don't have a modem. how shall i go about this? wala ba talagang internal modem 'to? patulong naman...

Burger: thanks for the link. but i think it's more applicable when Windows is installed. i'm still using Linux. takot din akong magkalikot on my own baka lalong masira ko, hehe. anyway, have asked people around na rin and they say na it doesn't have a modem. but it's ok. im using na lang either wifi or dsl (just like right now, wifi at glorietta).

medyo mahirap nga mag type dito sa laptop na 'to. but i'm still keeping this. its so cute! :)

The only real advantage is its light weight and being small. I'd rather full size lap top for a few more thousand. The time may come when it will have a big memory, at same size, then I will look at it.

portability and price lang naman talaga ang selling point nito eh. you shouldnt buy this thing if you need high performance. i already have a regular sized laptop but im planning to buy this because the one i have is too heavy to carry around. with an ultra portable, i can just put it in my cargo pants pocket or my girlfriend's bag or something.

saan yung P15,500? naka Linux pa yun I suppose.

windows xp pwede daw, then use a thumb drive nalang for storage

Unfortunagely I'm here in Baguio right now. The computer shop I inquired (my dad is getting one) said their prices reflect those in manila so magtanong ka lang sa gilmore..

and yes, linux siya; although when I asked them kung pwede paconvert to winxp oo agad sila.. libre raw
