UncleBob
except Yao all the other chinese players are overerated and most nba gets them just to get chinese viewers to watch and support there team. imagine yang Sun yue na yan e magaling pa mga pinoy dyan. Also Yi Ynajian nakakakuha ng marami votes kahit di naman magaling talu pa mga team mates nya. s@%t u make me laugh..the closest thing to sun from the nba is gabe norwood(not even that close)...while having been in last year's cinderella ncaa team,he's not even mentioned in any mock draft....so the conclusion is....RP national team<any team from the cba...y?filipinos can't accept the fact that they can't reach number one in asia...peace...sad but true Edited January 23, 2009 by UncleBob Quote Link to comment
protozoan
many years ago, most chinese basketball analysts and probably some western believed that yao ming will NEVER surpass wang zhizhi.. before leaving CBA for the NBA, wang's team was the champion every year and since their team is the army team, they dont have any imports, and even then yao ming, even with 2 imports on his team was never able to win any championship series, except when wang left for the NBA. what happened to him in the NBA was another story. why he didnt make it, i dont know.. but probably poor career choices. dirk nowitzki was also a nobody under don nelson for many years before eventually becoming the main man Quote Link to comment
rafer_alston
paul pierce is over rated, hahahah david west is over rated, i mean him making the all star was a slap on TYSON CHANDLER and PEJA, the reason why NO won many games is not only because of paul and west it's also because both of the players mentioned... david west an all star??? hahahahah you gotta be shitting my ass... ChiliMac
Wala ng iba kung di si Jon Ordonio! Sobra media hype dyan pero nung maglaro eh lampa! Kahawig nya sa buhok si Kobe, hanggang dun lang! Quote Link to comment
Gideon
Yao Ming Again a starter, I wonder how Yao Ming amassed such number of Votes??? I forgot, he has China to vote for him... Buti nalang hindi fans nag vote ng MVP for the NBA kundi puro Yao Ming yan... Quote Link to comment
dencio
^^ Who would you vote for as West center then? - Shaq? - Biedrins? - Okur? - Oden? - Camby? Obviously Yao is the better choice than any of those, Chinese or not. Quote Link to comment
orionpax
Tim Duncan...since he plays C on a small San Antonio team hehe ^^ Who would you vote for as West center then? - Shaq? - Biedrins? - Okur? - Oden? - Camby? Obviously Yao is the better choice than any of those, Chinese or not. Quote Link to comment
dencio
^^ Well, Duncan is listed as an F on the All-Star ballot for which he was voted as one of the starters. :goatee: Although, technically TD IS the Spurs' center, the team always lists somebody else as their starting C - case in point is Matt Bonner - and let TD play PF. At least come All-Star time, he can be assured of a starting All-Star spot. Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
Yao Ming deserves the spot this year. he's been consistent and up until last night at least, healthy. to get back on topic and since we're talking all star picks... Amar'e Stoudemire = overrated Quote Link to comment
