josepo
like me, when you are training for an event, i'd prefer to use my personal gym outside/home. but when i want to just hang out and have fun, i'd go to our local gym Quote Link to comment
Nate Gray
Let me be the first to suggest a pullup bar. The benefits for total upper body you get from it is amazing. From that alone you can already do some form of circuit training at home. Check out simplefit (www.simplefit.org) Agree with this. For anyone contemplating setting up a home gym, a pullup bar is easily one of the essentials you'll need. After that, a bunch of free weights in the form of dumbells or a barbell and plates should do the trick. Quote Link to comment
Edmund Dantes
Quote Link to comment
Patrickoologs
basta may bench press ka na sa bahay at dumbells, pwede na yun gamitin ako meron nyan pero may barbell din ako...sa bahay na lang ako nag gi gym and after workout run naman... Quote Link to comment
Jack_Raiden
plano ko din yung ganitong set up bibili na lang ng mga gamit, kaya lang naiisip ko parang mas ok pa din po ata yung nagpupunta sa gym. Quote Link to comment
ghidolkod2
mas okay pumunta sa gym, pero pag meron ka naman equipment sa bahay okay na rin yun, wag ka lang tamarin. Quote Link to comment
direstraits94
boring pala pag dito lang sa bahay ,good side lang walang traffic unlike pupunta sa gym Edited December 19, 2014 by direstraits94 Quote Link to comment
Edmund Dantes
If you ask me, buying a treadmill or any cardio machine for home use is waste of money. All the cardio equipment you are ever gonna need is a good old fashioned jump rope. You burn more rope jumping for 10 mins than running in a treadmill for 20 mins. Besides, nothing will ever beat outdoor running. Quote Link to comment
markjoycehailey
I have my own gym at home as well as in the building adjacent to my business. A few buddies regularly work out with me. Quote Link to comment

eika85
My dad built his own home gym, so I get to use that as well. Saves time and money for me, and I get to work out four times a week. Quote Link to comment
Kapitan Awesome
Mas masaya magbuhat sa public gym. Pero nasa loob, set up lang ng pull-up bar tapos TRX. Okay na. Quote Link to comment
LGuy
Try Insanity program or P90X. It works as long as you follow the diet plan together with the workout schedule. Quote Link to comment
WitMystery
Does anybody know where I can buy one of those pullup bars that you can prop against (NOT install) at the top of solid doorways? Quote Link to comment
you101
Does anybody know where I can buy one of those pullup bars that you can prop against (NOT install) at the top of solid doorways? sa these in different places- true value- 168 mall- specialty sports stores- olx Quote Link to comment
WitMystery
Thanks. Maybe I'll try OLX. True Value and Handyman haven't had it in a while, and the usual mall sports stores don't seem to carry it at all. Quote Link to comment
xdeerhunter
Is "ensayo" a good brand? Affordable kasi yung mga equipment nila, not sure lang if they offer good aftersales support/warranty... Quote Link to comment

Affordable kasi yung mga equipment nila, not sure lang if they offer good aftersales support/warranty... many gyms use their equipment. I have previously used some of their equipment and dumbells in some gym I used to go before, their ok nmn. owner is a filchi bodybuilder who previously operated a gym in binondo before.
