buwitre1781 Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 it will be hard to find teams trading for melo. for me he is overrated. but who knows, anything might happen as the trade deadline is nearing  kala ng new york nakajackpot sila nung maacquire nila si melo. on the other para sa denver most especially for george karl its a relief that they can finally move on. denver has no real superstar pero they managed to win they almost upset okc last year in the playofffs. Droidz1979 Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 yeah, as of now denver ang nakakuha ng upperhand sa trade na yun injured nga lang si gallinari but he is playing well before mangyari yung injury. But Denver will never win a championship with that line-up. They'll forever be a good regular season team that would always fall short during the semis. I love Gallo but he is not consistent himself and he disappears during crunch time. During the play-offs you need a good team D and a lil hero ball and the Knicks have that now with the presence of Chandler, Jeffries and Shump. Wag lang sila mainjured otherwise look at what San Antonio did to the Knicks other than scoring more than 100. What the Knicks also need is time to jell instead of the knee-jerk reaction to trade this player and that. Miami needed a year to jell and look at the way that team is playing now as compared last year maski choker pa din si Lebron. The Bulls is also almost the same team as last year except Rip. The same goes for the Thunder. If New York manages to keep the team intact for a year, they'll be deadly based on the fact that their players are not old as compared to the big 3 of Boston (Rondo lang exception). Sayang! I doubt it, the Bucks won't be able to mount a comeback with Brandon Jennings alone while supported by Drew Gooden and Ilyasova. They might not be able to overcome Bogut's season ending injury (again) and the boneheaded decision of their coach, Scott Skiles to bench Stephen Jackson when he is healthy. They simply don't have much height and talent to compete especially if they're not gonna improve via trade before the trading deadline on March 15. The same applies for the Cavs with Varejao being out. Irving and Jamison won't be able to lift the Cavs by themselves. Quote Link to comment

jopoc Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 (edited) jopoc  so what is your conclusion as to why with melo they suck?  based on my limited knowledge of basketball, Melo does not fit the knicks system given their lineup. the knicks, with lin, stat and tyson are better playing the pick n'roll rather than using the isolation plays of melo. it would help a lot if melo will allow being the third option next to Lin and the big guy giving the pick. Sama m pa c baron. Its not just Chandler, Jeffries is also injured and his presence is also badly missed. Their offense is not a problem anymore as they've score more than a 100 for the past games. Sadly, their opponents have also outscored them also and it didn't help that Shupert barely played on this game or the fact that the bad JR Smith came out to play in this game. When knicks were winning Lin was running the show but he also made sure to rotate the ball though he was prone with TOs at least they won those games. With melo isolating most of the time they become 1 dimensional team. If knicks want to contend they should get D12 now! D for defense! Quote Link to comment

Droidz1979 Posted March 11, 2012 Share Posted March 11, 2012 And the Knicks lose again to the 76ers at home with the score of 94 vs 106. Melo topscored with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assist while J-Lin scored 14, had 3 rebounds, 7 assist, 2 steals; Fields had 13 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 blk; JR Smith had 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assit; Amare only managed 9 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blk; While Chandler returned to the starting line-up and scored 8 points, nabbed 12 boards, had 1 steal and 1 blk. I agree, chemistry is their biggest problem now and they have no confidence especially when your home crowd is booing your game. Amare and Melo can't same to both have a good game, its always either or and Shump and Novak tend to be lost on the sideline. J-Lin kinda get's lost in between also.In this game, its Evan Turner and Lou Williams that burned and Jared Jeffries is still out from injury. Quote Link to comment
