luckystrike
well just an observation how many of you have work inn a bank or naging teller siguro you would understand their situation. firstly teller does really need your id or check you out even ITS YOUR MONEY that yu are withdrawing Bec. its also for your OWN protection and protection din sa kanila., Kasi of the teller ay magshort ng money sya ang sasagot non so she will have to be sure na tama ang money and ang pagbibigyan nya even you will be carefull. and dahil doon kaya mabagal ang service and doon sa mnga nagkwekwentuhan na teller normal lang yon ikaw ba pa nagwork you dont speak to your officemates?., but of course dapat may limit din yon. luckystrike
while this is the standard practice in banks, tellers at BDO dont ask for my ID if i am withdrawing over the counter. usually it depends kung kilala ka na ng teller and if your withdrawing small amount they have the authority to approve it, but if its is a big amout they need identification for approval Quote Link to comment

I think the people from BDO has a id system so they can immediately verify who you are. Yun kasi sabi sa akin ng friend ko who works at BDO. Exception to the list eh kung representative ka ng account at dun lang ata magkakaroon ng additional verification. Complaint ko lang about BDO is that they dont have a specific counter for express transactions. Kaya kung malas mo kung yung mga nauna sayo eh maraming bitbit na transaction slips eh ipit ka. ChiliMac
"metrobank, lousy lousy lousy!!! Deposit ka lang sa ibang bank branch to your or to your relatives' account may charge pang 100pesos." Dude, baka sa province na yung account? They really charge kung ganun. I think it's a protection for the "money sending" business. Maiba lang ako. Sa lahat ng banko kahit na Metrobank or BPI kalaki. Lahat talaga sila eh may bad habit na kahit mismo bank officer or manager eh laging nagsisingit!!! Alam na alam mo na yung mga ganun pag pupunta sila sa likod ng mga tellers and may papasingit na transaction! Kaiinis lang talaga! Quote Link to comment

Guest lustfortravel
the past few weeks, i am having trouble with BDO. most of the time, their ATMs are down, or if they are up, they do not have money... I don't think this is limited to BDO only. In any case, the larger banks always have the most network problems due to the heavy volume of transactions. What I find sad nowadays is the lack of "personalized" service. Although I get it from the banks I deal with since normally the senior officers handle my accounts, I just find it sad that most depositors don't get the same type of service. Is this due to the sheer volume of transactions and the fierce competition in the banking industry as a whole ( look at the larger banks extending their banking hours just because BDO started it all)? When you lose the personal touch, you lose the loyalty of the customer. All customers like to be made to feel special. And if you are made to feel insignificant, then I'd say you won't have good things to say about the bank itself. That's just my two cents. Edited March 17, 2008 by lustfortravel Quote Link to comment
