Coloong sa Valenzuela yan, at ikaw huhuli they charge you per kilo sa mga nahuli mo. AFAIK, Hito, Dalag, Bangus, Tilapia ang meron, pwede din ihaw ihaw dun parang outing na din for the family.

I recently tried fishing using a slingshot modified to shoot arrows with a line.

We tried it at cavite, along the irrigation channels. It was fun, but most of the time I missed the Tilapia, at the end of the day we were able to catch 5 fish, and got a lot of sunburn.

I was with a bunch of conservationists. Had to throw it back in the water. Enjoyed the celebratory beers thoroughly though!

we usually go fishing in Caylabne Bay off the coast of Cavite and catch is mostly lapulapu. . For deep sea fishing we tried Calatagan on a rented boat and so far 2 weeks naming ulam yung catch na talakitok.

Just fished in a nearby port. It was a good opportunity since it was a rising tide (They tell me that fish usually goes near the port during that period), but what really ticks me off is that someone is cutting my line.

I have a 1mm Nylon leader line connected to a .44mm line(Reel).

I lost 2 of my weights and 3 hooks (All that I have left).

 

I asked nearby fishermen (Yes, fishermen using the traditional "Habyog") and they say it usually the Butiti(puffer fish) who bites the line.

 

Can you give me advices on how to minimize line biting?

UIse a spider line.. am sure this will take away the cutting of the line. this line is very sturdy but also expensive.

 

This are the lines am using here in UAE even with a large fish he can't just cut this line that easy. especially big KING fishes..

If you're willing to go to Valenzuela. About 30mins away from the said exit there are pay ponds there where you could catch bangus, tilapia and dory. Fishing just for the fun of it.

I tried fishing at wawa dam. My companion caught a 1 kilo carp using dead shrimp as bait. Minimal entrance and parking fees. People there are also friendly.
