Anybody tried fly-fishing? Applicable ba 'to dito sa Pilipinas?

 

I've seen some equipment at Chris Sports but have no idea as to what most of them are for. Can anybody suggest a website for such things?

 

Also, baka meron ditong fishing club na pwede salihan. Hehehe.

hehe masaya talaga ang fishing...nakaka-taas ng pasensya..pero mas masaya pag ksama ang mga kaibigan tapos nagkwekwetuhan habang naghihintay na may mahuli..

mas na-appreciate ko ang mga simple na bagay sa buhay dahil sa fishing (kawayang lang ksi ang gamit ko na fishing pole pero nakakahuli rin hehe)

Dude, saan ba sa Valenzuela? Friendly ba mga tao dun? Newbie lang kasi kami ng Wife ko. Would like to try this out.

has anyone tried "roro fishing" already? im road tripping with dad to catanduanes in bicol by wed and planning on wetting my line, in the almost 3hour tour. i have my penn senator 10/0 wit 700yrds and a penn 4/0 levelwind wit 500 yrds of 50lbs ande mono. im not even sure if were to land any but...

Hello freeman i a back after 3 months at South Korea. Miss ko na yung fishing aka matuloy kami ni spider at koolong by May 1. Hows everybody?

Too bad the pic doesn't show the top of the fishes head. It does look like a remora .don't know if they're edible though

Yup thats a Remora, closely related to the Cobia (which is edible) so im assuming edible din yan.

 

Lake Caliraya is a good place to fish for Bass the best time would be the "Ber" months until Feb ata if I remember it correctly.

hehehe ok lang, maganda dyan bro hindi lang fishing ang pwede mong gawin. Pero I think this month hindi pa maganda mag fishing dun at sobrang init at mababa daw ang water level.

freshwater fishing is relaxing. large mouth bass and sunfish. deep-sea is hit or miss

fishing is not totally expensive at all,skills are more important.for newbies all you need is fishing spool(.50mm),hooks,lead weights(2).it works! we are fishing here in abu dhabi,near the emirates palace.usually we catch snappers,shery,sultan,safi,hamour,and even barracudas.sa coastline lng kmi parati,corniche as they called it.a lot of kabayans are fishing here.so thinking of buying a rod? maybe later.

yes sa may creek park. pero they wont bite using kubos(tinapay) on your bait, i think fly fishing is the best for those kind of fish.

cobia family, they said its edible. a lot of smll time fisherman caught it here in UAE.
