Sa may malabon po, dampa sa paseo... for beginner like me, chilax lng at food trid din. Bangus at tilapia ung nahuhuli. Good experience enough para mafeel ung laban ng bangus sa rod. Masa lng po ung bait...

Batotoy, if you read the first few threads in the topic, they talk about fishing in Manila bay Aside from the ones mentioned that can be caught in Manila bay, I understand they can also catch Banak (Mullet) and Buan-Buan (Pacific Tarpon) around Roxas.

 

Further out, near the mouth of the bay, corrigidor, etc. more fish species to be had of course, Barracuda, Lapulapu, etc. But need a boat or drive to Cavite/Batangas or Bataan.

 

Subic (SBMA) Fishing, last time I went fishing in Subic, I was asked to buy a "fishing permit" from the main office of SBMA. Not sure if it is still the same. We fished in Malawan area (argonaugh highway) and caught a lot of Salay-Salay.

Anywhere manila bay ay pwede mag fishing kaya lang ay mabato... Kailangan malakas kang pumukol ng weight mo para malayo ang marating ng fishing line mo and hindi masabit sa bato pag retrieve mo....hanap ka na lang ng lake or sa laguna de bay ka na lang. Sa loob ng mga fish pens...tilapia.

Meron bang ma rent dito na day trip sa Roxas palabas lang ng 5km sa shore para lang magfishing?

 

Sa port area, P30 lang entrance at pwede ka na magbingwit sa tabi2.

I used to fished Subic when they just opened tp the public . fishing was great then after a couple of years, fish caught were getting smaller and fewer because some angler don't practiced catch and release .

Just went fishing in zambales. Nice catch we only caught 1 talakitok. We got around 4 bites though. We were not able to reel them in. Braid to mono snapped, hoot got bent, others got away the hooks were not set. Great fight with the fish though. I think it was a lapu lapu cause it dived straight down.

The nearest is Island Cove in Cavite. Just go straight until the end of Coast Road/Cavitex.

i often do trolling at Laiya, San Juan, Batangas... We could schedule a trip if you want.

Haha. Nice. Gusto ko ulit magtry mamingwit. Hndi ko pa natry sa dagat puro freshwater fish lang nahuli ko dati mga tipong dalag at hito sa palaisdaan.

Mas maganda sa dagat kasi mas may variety. At mas malaki mga isda kapag youre in deeper waters.

Malay mo makahuli ka ng malaki.
