PC specs p4 3.0; asus p5pe-vm; 2x512mb ram; 160gb hdd; built in video/sound/lan; 350w psu

 

hi, need some help here.. nagkaroon ng problem pc ko. 2 days ako, biglang nalang siyang nag blue screen (memory dump) then nung ni reboot ko hindi na nagrerespond yung pc. may power yung unit pero walang display, walang response ang keyboard, at walang beep code. once, nagboot sya hanggang windows screen tapos nawalan ng signal yung monitor. paminsan minsan nagkakaroon ng display pero scrappy. tinry ko ng pagpalit palitin yung memory pero ganon pa rin. tinry ko ring alisin pareho yung memory may 1 long at 2 short beeps. nahihirapan akong i trace yung problem pero ang hint ko yung mobo yung may problem. wala pa sa budget ko ang upgrade ng pc kaya kung magagawan pa ng paraan mas ok.

 

any suggestions.. no trolls pls. thanks!

Suggest ko na rin sayo bro, dalhin mo na rin yung rig mo sa shop na pagbibilhan mo ng hardware para ma-test at burn-in na rin sa kanila ng matagal tagal para isang lakaran na lang. Kasi minsan hindi ka rin makakasiguro na yun lang ang may depekto.

hmmm. parang MOBO issue yan bro.

pag binibuksan mo ba, bumubukas din yung fan? if it is, eliminate power issues.

im not that sure thou, but you can try different usb ports on your system or even another system perhaps. if all else fail try to go bios and see if you can boot of your thumb drive.

another thing is you try to reformat it. thats the least thing that you can do to have it in working condition.

 

if it still does fail try to have a new one. p

mga bro,patulong naman. Im a dsl subscriber. Ok naman sya kaso,ngaun my problem akong naencounter. Pag nagnenet ako,it's only good for a couple of minutes tapos nabitaw ung connection,page cannot be displayed tapos ung ym,nagsisignout.nreconfigure ko na din un lan card,wa epek pa din. Funny thing is,ung monitor ng lan sa system tray,andun pa din,connected. Nagrun na ako ng anti spyware at anti vrus,wla namang nadetect. Pero pag safe mode,hindi nabitaw connection. Paano kaya to? Btw,im using a built in lan card and xp os.

contact the dsl provider customer service para to check if ok yung line mo to them muna. maybe static sa phone line mo.

first update your system to the latest patches......tapos gamitin mo na yung latest browser like firefox 3 or IE 7............iam using smartbro, last last week nangyayari din sa akin yan, yung bumibitaw yung connection, ginagawa ko nag refresh ako doon lang ulit bumabalik ulit siya, tingin ko sa kanila ang problema kaya ok lang, ngayon ok na siya....

my connection b ung hardware problem d2? nilinis ko n lahat nung parts kc gnun pa din.

 

check mo yung memory mo, kung dalawa ang memory stick mo, try mo gamitin ang isa at mag troubleshoot ka.....tapos lipat mo rin sa ibang ide port yung HDD mo, mas maganda kung meron kang bagong IDE ribbon.....or kung isa lang ang memory mo try mo linisin by using eraser....

i tried using my globe sim card as a modem to connect to the internet. whenever i connect, this "PPP link control protocol was terminated" error appears. at first, i thought my sim card could be defective since it's quite old and it doesn't work on all phones anymore.

 

so, i decided to buy a smart sim card. i was able to connect through gprs connection. at first, i thought that everything was ok and that i have only connected to gprs because 3G network was not available. i assumed that as soon as smart 3G connection became available, i'll have no problem connecting to it. however, when it became available, same error occurs (PPP link control protocol). i then realized that i cannot connect via my old globe sim because 3G connection is almost always available in our vicinity... but if i manually select gprs, i could connect to the internet via globe.

 

in short, i can connect via gprs, whether globe or smart, but cannot connect via 3G. i have already asked for assistance from globe's CSR, but in the end, they said that i should bring my CP to a SE service center. but when i went to SE's SC, they said that i should call globe because it's a problem on their network.

 

i've also searched the net for some answers, like choosing "allow unsecured password" or unchecking "enable LCP blah blah," still the same problem persists. i have also tried deleting and installing internet account configurations automatically and manually, and restoring the phone's factory settings, but still failed.

 

anybody?

my problem began when i started using usb drives. when i use a usb drive, usually nag-auto run na siya.

 

one time nagsaksak ako ng usb, ayaw mag-auto run. so I clicked the usb drive at MY COMPUTER. may lumabas na window asking what program i wanted to use to open the usb? right then, nag-avast ako and true enough, may virus yung drive (bar311.exe daw). nilinis ni avast, then okay na.

 

that happened several times and in all cases, avast comes to the rescue.

 

today, however, when i clicked my drive C:/ may lumalabas na window asking what program I want ti sue to open drive C:/.

 

problema, kahit anong avast ko, ganun pa din.

 

ano po pwede ko gawin para maayos ito?

1. I bought a rigged PC sa gilmore last May, Naka-dual core processor na ko, at first nag Vista Home Basic

ako, pero may ilang programs na hindi nagra-run dahil sa Vista ko, so I switched sa XP ulit, i bought this

pirated OS, WindowsXP GENUINE daw and Vista look.. meaning hindi cya nadedetect ng microsoft na pirated. i tried

connecting sa microsoft and i think totoo nga hindi nadetect kc nkpagDL pa ko ng Windows Defender. parang anti spyware.

kaso d ko alam naka-2 reformat nako kc parang may Bug, or nagkakaspyware/virus nakukuha ko yata sa school using

my USB. Plan ko ulit magreformat pero ano sa tingin nyo, magswitch nman kaya ako sa VISTA ULTIMATE or bili naman

ako ng XP Professional? parang pangit na yata ang mga pirated OS ngayon eh. P.S. kada reformat ko install ko agad

un 3mos. na free trial ng Norton pero di nya naaalis un virus, araw2 akong ngfu-full system scan laging may nadedetect

at nafi-fix nya pero laging meron. Trojan un dumadale sa PC ko may lumalabas na advertisements pag nkaexplorer ako.

 

 

2. Gusto ko pong matuto BUMUO at MAGKALAS ng PC. Ang gagaling ng mga nasa gilmore eh, ang husay

bumuo tska kabisado na ang bawat parts ng PC. Saan po kaya pwedeng mag-aral? un talagang Hands-ON.

Plan ko pong kumuha ng course na PC Troubleshooting sa Meralco, worth it po kaya?

1.) Xp professional service pack2. yan nalang gamitin mo, softwares complete and madali mag hanap ng installer.

 

kapag sa vista, it is much difficult to find installers. and hndi pa perfect ang system.

try to use avast or avira, it is way better.
