EUGENE VILLATORA

He says he is from Hawaii ... in one quickfire episode, he made his version of our local dessert TURON. Since the challenge prohibits them from using sugar, he used cinnamon.

I was watching an episode of the 80's vigilante series "The Equalizer" and observed that there was one scene where the Equalizer was in New York's Chinatown, and he walked past a chinese restaurant that had a neon sign in its front window that said "MAYROON KAMING PAGKAING PILIPINO".

In the latest episode (ep. 6) of Dark Blue, Dylan McDermott and his team took on a Filipino street gang in LA so there were a lot of Pinoy references in the show, including a white guy speaking Tagalog and the Philippine flag being displayed prominently. Unfortunately, the show's writers doesn't seem to know any Pinoy songs, so they ended up using La Bamba in a karaoke scene.

Crap! The Philippines was cast in a bad light once again in the latest episode of Hawaii Five-O. Patrick Gallagher, Glee's Coach Tanaka, plays a Filipino terrorist who kidnapped the daughters of the US ambassador to the Philippines.

Batista also guested in the latest episode of Chuck, so we get to see the Philippine flag tattooed on his arm.
