I'm back here na sa Pinas for good Sayang nga maganda sa website ng Apple SG, merong 'refurbished' macbooks for sale. halos 50% off discount. Quote Link to comment

Yung box pareho nung mga nakikita sa retail pero may nakalagay lang na label na refurbished sya. Took 3 days for the package to arrive kasi galing pa mismong china haha... As much as i hate to admit it, yun yung nakaka miss sa SG, yung convenience na madali ka makakahanap at makaka-afford ng mga ganung devices as long as you have the budget for it. Dami kasi dun puro "bought on impulse" kaya kahit second hand mabili mo guaranteed na ok sya. Either way, dapat talaga marunong ka humanap at pag nakatsamba ka ng item na talagang gusto mo then nataong may budget ka, bili agad or else wala na yan mamya! Quote Link to comment

simon888
for vintage macs, you may also try Ynzal. had my late 2008 MBP serviced there last year. it had a defective cooling fan. i asked PowerMac if they can fix it, and they said that it was subject to availability of parts. that could take a couple of weeks. Ynzal was able to do it in 30 minutes. Quote Link to comment

Vegasboy32
Same here I used Windows since the 90s. DOS in the 80s. I just bought my first mac 5 years ago. It's simple and I use it for desktop publishing and video editing. I plan to buy a macbook 12 inch later on. Quote Link to comment
butrto@st
It only make sense to buy a mac after i started using iphones, ipod, and ipad. After using Mac, the ease of use, less instance of virus. Windows PC are a bit unattractive after that. Quote Link to comment
dirk.diggler
^^ Yup the ease of apple's ecosystem (iphone. ipad, mac, etc) is really one of the things that you pay for. Started using Mac at home since 2006. My 2006 macbook is still alive (although battery now only lasts a couple of minutes), though I rarely use it anymore. What I still currnelty use at home 2008 macbook. Not bad for an 8 year old laptop. Check out philmug.ph Quote Link to comment

ozman88
Been on the Apple eco-system since 2007. Despite a few hiccups it's still the platform with the least amount of headaches on normal days. Quote Link to comment
Rexrexrexrexrex
I have a macbook pro retina 15 inch. It's great for editing photos and videos (very fast rendering). I guess it just boils down to what you use your laptop for. Frankly speaking, I wouldn't buy a PC ever again. Quote Link to comment
