Started using Shell's E10 blend... smooth drive... mura pa ng konti sa regular unleaded. :mtc:

caltex gold and petron xcs. pag gusto ko hatawan, petron blaze.

 

i don't use shell's premium anymore. 93 lang octane.compared to 95 for caltex gold or petron xcs. for the same prize.

 

tried total's infinity before. pero i heard that marami nagrereklamo sa gas ng total. nakakasira daw ng makina. i don't know how true.

FYI lang sa mga observation ko sa mga Octane rating stickers na nakadikit sa pumps.

 

All the fuel being sold today are all Unleaded because of the Clean Air Act.

 

The only difference is the octane rating.

 

For Petron fuels: Blaze 96 Octane 43.88 pesos

XCS Plus Valvemaster 95 43.06

Xtra Unleaded 93+ 42.32

 

For Caltex fuels: Gold with Techron 95 43.06

Silver with Techron 93 43.32

 

For Shell fuels: Velocity 95 44.00

Super Premium 93 43.06

Super Unleaded 93 42.32

 

For Total fuels: Infinity 95 44.21

Protec 93 43.18

Premiere Unleaded 93 42.38

go for the high RON o OCTANE gasoline. mas maganda ang burnout ng fuel pag taas ang reid vapor pressure. shell raw materials galing dito s qatar. pero hinahaluan nila ng galing s shell malampaya na mababa masyado ang API. mejo malalim n ata. sensya na explain ko lng kse eto job ko. so for me mas maganda yung blaze coz galing yan s saudi. maganda ang crude nila. taas ng API.

Ako blaze gamit ko. Yung mga gasolinahan sa shaw blvd somehow mas mura compared to other branches. Buti na lang malapit ako sa shaw. Hehe

i only use caltex gold...pag nagwawarning na ang gas ko, naghahanap talaga ako nito.

For my Honda Accord I used Petron XCS plus, If I use Caltex para mahina yung sasakyan and mabilis maubos. Velocity pag wala akong mahanap na Petron.

 

For full tank of gas around 295km for city driving. I still have 1/8 of gas.

shell unleaded.. always used this.. mali ba? i always had the perception that caltex silver is not good for the car.. and that petron is "madumi"

 

had this friend hus car started having problems.. the car shop checked his car, went back to him and said.. "caltex gas mo nh?"

 

so shell ako.. pero any other reviews?

 

full tank of gas is around 40 liters right? i could get 440 kms, or 11 km per liter on shell unleaded.. havent tried the others yet..
