JustSmile=)
ROTC sucks Got that right pre! Quote Link to comment

crazykalbo
well, I remember paying for ROTC back in college. you need to befriend your officers, attending one sunday. Then you can bribe this dickheads and be exempted from all the sufferings and pain from this stupid subject. Quote Link to comment
s3cr3tiv3
lecheng ROTC yan. kainitan ng Marc Chua case sa UST nung nag-ROTC ako, so there were times na wala kaming ginagawa because the NCOs, MPs, etc. were very preoccupied with fending off the anti-ROTC rallyists. Quote Link to comment
MiG-29C
For me, it's definitely Hell Week. Seven days of gruelling physical, mental, academic torture and verbal abuse with only 2-3 hours of sleep. On the 7th day, we culminated the training with an 18 kilometer march to the beach in full BDAs and carried 7.62mm M14s. By sunset, we had formation by the shoreline, held a small ceremony and were declared as graduates, full-pledged Naval ROTC officers. Damn glad I was given my dream assignment: the Marine Honor Escort and Rifle Silent Drill Company, where I held the position of Company Commander for 2 years. Not the most sought after position in the Corps (everybody was aspiring to be a Corps Commander), but it's about being a part of the most well-disciplined, well-trained unit in our Regiment. Corps Commanders, like other senior officers, may have had the credit and the glory, but it's the enlisted men, the company grade officers and those down the line who actually run the show. Semper Fidelis! Quote Link to comment
