I bought myself a Casio EX-Z60 a couple of months ago since I loved my cousin's Casio cam. Mine's slimmer than his, and its user-friendly. The battery life and the photo uploading needs some improvement though. But I really dig my cam :cool:

I got a 8 MB Powershot s80. Solid and compact design. Clear Crisp Images. I think it falls already sa Digital SLR Camera already. Even my proffesional photographer friend was amazed by what it can do. Its quite pricey though it will set you back around 38 K. Got it on installment otherwise I wouldnt shell out that much sa Digital Camera. Ayon inaamag na nga sa bahay ala gumagamit.

try going to Quiapo around the Hidalgo.

 

you can also find really good bargains for digicams (up to 40% or more ang difference compared sa malls)

try going to watson's or henry's sa quiapo (near sm carriedo), ok mga deals and warranty nila. got my sony T5 there for only 20K inclding a 1GB card (costs around 25-27K for most dealers) with 1 yr waranty, almost a year na siya and so far very satisfied, perfect for everyday use. an S3 or S2is is on my wishlist though :-)

If Canon S3 didn't come out yet, I'd still be the guy with the biggest smile on the block. I'm so happy with my Canon S2 IS. Im glad i didnt get a video cam. The Canon S2 doubles as my vid cam. I have used it in TV Productions and the clients didnt even know that I shot their vid with a digital cam!

colors perfect, very responsive, intelligent software, stabilizers great, lens distortion acceptable, fast & quiet zoom motors... my dream camera for 2005!

I think this was asked several times before...Canon's service center is in Makati. Building sa corner ng Rufino (formerly Herrera) and Chino Roces--katapat ng Shell station.
