webmaster_ph
my upgrade was a success, i started the upgrade before leaving the office. the next day i was prompted to make some adjustments in my apt sources , i just followed the recommendation. and finally, the wizard asked if i want to delete some files/libraries that gutsy gibbon will not use or supported. I decided to leave the files inside my machine, just to play safe. cool... now i can install w/o any worries Quote Link to comment

cruesome
i guess i have to open my doors to ubuntu once again. never liked it, perhaps a second look won't cause me harm :-) i'll stick to slackware for now, and perhaps with fedora too. the gui for ubunto looks attractive, sadly, i like more free hand than the gui.
